I'll always have my doubts about his temperament after seeing him kick Messi all over the place and then stamp on his hand when he was down. C*nts trick.
This is exactly what we have been missing IMO. Our team is full of sissys ever since NDJ left, well, apart from Zaba and Milner. This guy gives us the X factor. Strikers will be scared to come up against him because he is quick, strong, athletic and, most importantly, not afraid to get stuck in when push comes to shove. Kompany, our best defender, looked like an amateur in the champions league yet he is also one of the leagues best defender as well. Pepe is a bully, he won't duck or dodge out of challenges and tackles whilst also having the uncanny ability to play long balls and make passes to someone other than the bloke standing right next to him.

Sorry disagree with you. This is exactly what we don't want.
Disciplinary problems.
Are you seriously suggesting that the current players have been ducking and dodging tackles.

A lot of people saying he's a dirty c*nt. If he signs for us he becomes our dirty c*nt. Totally different situation then. Can't argue with his discipliary record and again I trust that Pellegrini knows him better than all of us :)

How is stamping on someones hand "exactly what we're missing"?

He's just written about 100 fucking words detailing a perfectly good argument why we could use Pepe, & that's the best reply you can think of, to pick out one line ?

I'm on board for a reasonable fee and wages. He's like Lescott but with actual footballing ability. In fact he'll almost certainly be making less than Lescott

To be honest to only things that puts me of this transfer is the cost and Nastasics potential. Pepe is a very capable defender who would improve most teams, but 20 odd mil is a lot for a 30 year old and he would be on big wages as well, also not sure if Pellegrini likes one left and right footed centre back partnership if so cant see us spending that money on a back up for Kompany.

we won't pay 20 odd million. he will be on lower wages than lescott. and we're gonna play something like 60 games next year. nastasic will get plenty of game time

I don't need to think of a "better" reply, his talent has never been in doubt, I even agree that he'd be a good signing, I just don't like the snide bastard, I've seen him do too much backhanded dirty shit.

Let's get something straight about Pepe.

I've been living over here in Spain for over two decades and have had the chance to see him play on many occasions.

He is an extremely gifted footballer and can play either in the centre of defence or in midfield. He is really comfortable on the ball and is not the sort of player who hoofs it up the pitch or panics (like our Joleon).

Having said that, he can be a nasty piece of work at times. He loses his rag (no pun intended!) all too easily, especially when Barcelona are the opponents.

All in all, though, his good points outweigh his bad points. He would bring a wealth of experience to the defence. Kompany and Pepe at the back would be a great pairing, and we'd have young Nastasic (plus another signing?) available for cover.

Bring him over, Txiki.
