Re: Pepe

Lots of good debate here about Pepe as to whether we (the fans) want him or not but is there any credible evidence that the club are trying to sign him - the only news story I have seen was in the Daily Star (enough said). Anyone seen Joe Royle on his holidays this year?

at about the 30 second mark he makes a tackle on iniesta. If he does that as a city player he will see red.

???? That was a beautiful tackle.

-- Tue Jul 23, 2013 1:48 pm --

This proposed transfer hasn't got any legs at all has it?

I think MP is trying to decide if he needs to strengthen at CB honestly. If Lescott is staying and if he thinks Garcia can handle the backup role....buying Pepe is a waste of money; money that could be used at other positions (e.g. LB).

Garcia can't handle it. Can you imagine him and Lescott in tandom in CL, vs the rags? Hell even Arsenal would give me heart palpatations.

That's why I m saying in Spain, Madrid have some support from referee all the time, but still have higher percentage of red, look when it's fair then the percentage will be increase ......

As in England, playing style is fast and physical that's suits young quick player and strong as well, referee here very inconsistent and with the decisions based on experience, reputation of the player, and some favouritism.

So overall Pepe is not belongs to this planet and he should remain in their own planet that's called real thugs planet.
...Are you a Barcelona fan?

mmmmm...............bloody hell!

Re: Pepe

Personally I'd love to see him as a city player, and if we are trying to get him I can't help but feel that means MP wants him, a player he has already managed, perhaps he feels he can get him to tone down the violence?
