Pep's contract situation

By the time Pep’s done, won’t the bloom be off Xavi’s rose at Barca?!

Tbh, I’m honestly wondering if Pep’s “genius” has seen its day and the next big thing is coming.

The world works at a certain frequency and, while football may have its own unique frequency, it is not immune to the cycles inherent in life.

May we live in interesting times.

Do you not think Howe is a good manager? Look at the job he has done with the Newcastle team, got them right up there and not really spent much money, did a great job at Bournemouth on a shoe string budget, and his teams always play good football
I agree, and to think he was basically unemployed after Bournemouth is crazy. I thought he was nailed on for Arse.
Arteta doing much better than most of us thought though.

No chance it will be kompany.
Won't be anyone who hasn't managed in the champions league.

Our DOF is the one that bring Pep as manager for the first team in Barcelona with his only experience managing Barcelona B team, Txixi took lot of risk back then thrusting Pep into that role.

I think Txixi will doing the same with Kompany if he thinks he saw the same potential in him like Pep does back then.

He has done an incredible job, there were question marks if he could handle life away from the South Coast, they have clearly been put to bed.

If we wanted Howe, not a chance he would walk away from the Toon, he could take that club to the very top of the game, they will be serious challengers to us on all levels in the coming years.

Same applies to Arteta, starting to look a high quality manager, always had a superb reputation as a coach and again why would he walk away from all the hard work he has done there?

Hansi Flick would be the best choice. Got Bayern back to the heights winning the CL after 3 seasons without Pep. Not that Ancilotti did a bad job. Heynckes filled in pretty well but he was then 73 years old. Kovacs was so-so by Bayern standards. Curious to see how Germany does in the WC under Flick. Nagelsmann, if Pep leaves after 2 or 3 more years is one to consider.
