It's a sensitive topic and as another poster mentioned, the club's board is looking to paint Guardiola in a negative light whenever possible. The Mats & Bravo 'tapping up' clearly happened so while he was somewhat vague, he did reiterate that he would never unsettle a settled player from Barcelona - which is what I would expect from him.

The rest is nonsense emanating from the board against Pep

I've not seen it. Bit I could talk for 10 minutes about the defeat in Barcelona, I imagine Guardiola could speak for hours. I'm surprised it has been called 'remarkable'

I'm watching it now. It's great. He's talking passionately, takes the piss out of the media a bit in a lighthearted way, answers questions at great length.

"You'd like that..." in response to the journo asking if he should change the way he plays in light of recent results. Followed with ".....I have won 21 titles in 7 years..." Fantastic.

I was a real grump after the game in mid-week. I doubted Pep and I doubted his methods. I am a fool.

21 titles in 7 years !!! But compared to the array of experts on here in the last few days he knows fuck all . About time some on here had a good head wobble , Aguero this , Kompany that , he has forgotten more about the game than anybody on here has ever known .
 
Reminded me of Khaldouns come back in a few years and see who had the best financial model. More or less saying comeback and see in three years if his way is best. Think we'll see that it is.
 
proves one thing, too many people believe the bollocks journos come out wih. listening to pep speak is a brath of fresh air and makes you realise just how good he is at what he does, and also that he wont take any shit from the press.
 
He just has you hanging onto every word in that press conference. He's so intense when he's listening and communicating. Just imagine how he is away from the cameras, 1 on 1 with the players and how motivational he must be.

Really enjoyed it

I liked the point that we need to more agressive/clinical in both boxes. He's, 100% correct when he says that we have to work very hard to score yet the opponents don't.
