Doubt these three will stay.

You sure comment like that you know a lot of things about every player but that is a piss poor assessment. That general complaint against both of these players is that they are useless without the ball, and none of them possess today's essential footballing attribute, which is pressing. Watch Dortmund's 4-1 win against Madrid where he pressed Modric like madman and pretty much won all of the tackles.
How many hardworking tacklers were in the Dortmund side that humiliated us at Etihad?
So I guess I should take this in bits and pieces:
1. I don't comment like I know a lot of things about every player. But well known players I do have an opinion on. Just like anyone else, coz I watch.
2. I guess you missed the part about Pep's system helping, Oh wait, you couldn't have, seeing as you bolded around it. You couldn't have missed it. I guess it didn't fit into the pseudo point you wanted to make.
3. As to your question of how many hardworking players came to City when they humiliated us. Well, Schmetzer, Pischek, Blackowski, Bendtner, Subotic, and Reus, were all ultra aggressive. Hummels, Gotze and Gundogan were less so. But that's neither here nor there.

And just so you have a video understanding of what I mean when I say Gundogan and Pogba can be described as the softest of the midfielders in their present squad, here is a video of Modric V Dortmund (the return leg in Madrid and not the one in which you claimed Gundogan was pressing like a madman) but still appropriate:

By the way, ignore Modric and pay attention to the Dortmund players. Now come back and tell me which one you thought to be the least aggressive amongst ALL of them. I have my thoughts. But I'll await yours.

BTW Fantasyireland, feel free to take a look too. As you seem of late to always wanna happy clap anyone that opposes anything I say, regardless of whether they are making sense or even necessarily objecting directly to my claim.

So you and Sam can let me know what you saw. As is always the case, I understand analysis can differ even after seeing the very same thing. But I leave it to the viewer :)

I honestly believe there will be mass changes .......
I doubt it. My sense is that issues with offloading players (unless China comes in) will limit our ability to maneuver. If we can bring in 4-5, that would be great.
Pogba, Gundogan, Bernat, then we will have done a fantastic job.

Denayer is the Right back coming in. Or back home.
Bernat the leftback and only Bayern signing.
Gundogan the CM and the Fulcrum of Pep's squad
Pogba the Marque buy.

Changes
Leaving, Kolarov, Yaya, Fernando, Demichelis. Thus, 4 in 4 out. Peps intensity will require lots of players.

Sagna Signs a 1year deal and moved to Demichelis position. CB4
Hart, Caballero and Gunn or Lawller ( #3 is gonna be a youth player)

RB Zab/Denayer
LB Bernat/Clichy
CB: Komp, Otamendi, Mangala, Sagna
CM: Gundogan, Pogba, Silva, Dihno, Delph, Nasri
WF; DeBryune, Sterling, Navas, ? (Barker, Celina)
ST: Aguero, Kelechi,

That's how I think it will go down. But those 4 players will change us more drastically than people realize.

Its nothing personal Dax,i think youre one of the forums highlights but ,i honestly couldnt care less whether your analytic abilities are accurate or otherwise, however because you believe youre untouchable in that department,i do enjoy seeing someone, who hasnt already been bored into submission........ reply with an alternative opinion:-)

OK cool. As for alternative opinion, like them too. Even when I disagree with them. :)

Am I the only one who'd like to see if we could bring up Angus Gunn and make him our number 2?
How good is he? Better than Lawler? Was discussing this week's back with someone. Might have been Fantasyireland. Haven't seen much of either. But if they are good enough, why not.

Agree about Nasri, but I'd be amazed if out of a 31 (club legend) and 33 year old right back, they'd keep the 33 year old.

The cynic in me also suggests he may have been playing for his future this season as well to a degree - would he be like the Sagna of last season if he was in and out of the team again?
If they are bringing in a young starter Fabihno, Peres, Picinni or someone like that, then its more likely Zaba leaves to go start somewhere else.

Im a big fan of Gunn,i know he lacks experience but i honestly think he has the talent.Thats also the problem though.......he surely now needs first team football to fine tune his ability and mature accordingly, and keeping him here as number 2 isnt the ideal scenario for doing that unfortunately.Perhaps a long loan is the best option.
As for Lawlor, hes gaining brilliant experience and plaudits himself at Bury, and although i havent seen any of this first hand......it does appear he too will be seeking first team football somewhere.

Gunn's looking to go out on loan next season. Wigan are very keen to take him as their no1 for a year. He was promised the third choice position this year and time on the bench with the possibility of some minutes in the cups but City went back on that promise. Preston wanted him on loan earlier in the season but we wouldn't let him go. Overall I've been told he's been a bit pissed off with this season cos as with any young player he wants playing time and experience at league level to keep progressing. Hopefully that'll happen next season and he'll come back ready to kick on to the next level.

Pogba
Gundogan
Xhaka
Sane
Bernat or Rodriguez
Fabinho
Bring denayer back
Valdes

Out

Kolarov
Yaya
Fernando
Mdm
Willy
Sagna
Navas
Bony

I remember when we were linked to Rodwell, Javi Garcia & Fernando.

Many of us were excited that these players will improve our squad but it didn't turn out this way.

It seems whenever we are linked with a player, many get excited that we are going to buy new player regardless of how useful this player will be.

Think Delph is out. Anyway you look at it, hard to believe Gaurdiola will tolerate such a limited player playing in his midfield.

Delph has actaully played exceptionally well for us when asked to play in his actual position of midfield. The problem is, Pelle has shoehorned him out on the left for many of his appearances, and then subbed him early wondering why he hasn't performed to the required standard. When played in the centre he has shown tenacity that we have been lacking, while he has also demonstrated impressive play making and passing ability. He aint no winger though.

There's no way zabba will go. He's the type of player pep loves. Attacking right back who works his socks off. Plus versatile. I think we'll get a new right back but zabba could find himself playing in a midfield 3 ala lahm.
Going out I recon toure (nycfc apparently), Bony, Nasri (maybe). I font see a mass clear out. Personally I think 3/4 changes and then proper world class coaching to players like sterling, Mangala, ottamendi and the young 'uns will do nicely.
Incomings depend on whether we qualify for champs league, but with this guy coming in I'm not too worried. We'd piss the league and blood some of the quality youngsters through if we didn't qualify. Win/win for me
