That is the way I feel especially after the Lyon debacle. Pep is the best coach we have ever had , but he isn’t beyond criticisism. Thankfully we don’t have to question him too much each season. Let’s hope we are not asking questions again this season.I’m not remotely arsed about the fact it was a Derby. I’ve had no piss taking from United mates as they know the league is done and they don’t want to make it their cup final etc. What I am very concerned about is the fact that Pep absolutely fucked his team selection and in game substitutions yet again in a big game.
Going four months unbeaten is great and yes a league win would (and will) be fantastic. But I’ve already resigned myself to a 1/4 Final exit from the CL when Pep suddenly shits the bed about how Porto play and picks the wrong side whilst changing our tactics to something we’ve never done or practiced before rather than playing to our strengths whilst utilising players in form.

As bad as Lyon was it took Laporte to have his worst brainfart since Spurs at home in the CL and a miss of the century from Raheem to send us out.That is the way I feel especially after the Lyon debacle. Ahh the good old days chasing 40 points while expecting relegation at some point and hoping with blind belief/love to see a few goals every now and again. Yes we are a top club now but pep did fuck up the scum game. I am still angry about the rags result but 6 points this week will just about make up for that shit show on Sunday.Here's some perspective.

Pep with his occassional overthinking is probably the best manager I have seen in my life or probably will ever see. I don't think I will ever lose that excitement of seeing him manage our team knowing that every other team would axe their manager on the spot of he wants to move there.Didn't take long for the "pep out" brigade to resurface. He deflects pressure from the players by saying the rags played well and some on here think he's a united fan . Shit happens in derbies - we gave the rags a few bloody noses when we were mid table and they were winning leagues and cups, do you really think they care about those games at the end of the season??
Losing the derby is fucking shite... BUT!!
We've gone 28 unbeaten (almost 4 months, FOUR MONTHS), 21 games winning run (best ever, EVER!!!!), final of the league cup, all but through in the CL, quarters of the FA cup, best attack in the league, best defence in the league, 11 points clear and the also rans all have to play each other....... we were 10 clear last week and everything was rosy, now we're 11 clear and arses are flapping.

I think games every 3 days might be too much for @BlueHammer85 to cope with, even if it is only 11.
The problem is that this forum is filled with over achievers - billionaires, world renowned philanthropists, CEOs, truly the apex of humanity. So it's only fair that the standards expected from Pep are so exacting. Have to win 37 out of 38 games. The one game we lose must be lost in an exhilarating fashion. Have to consistently win derbies and big matches 4-0 or it's a disgrace.
I'm not a fan, I've never been a fan. Every time a match starts, I take out my clipboard with numbers and minute by minute I note how many times Kevin shat the bed and Mahrez bottled it. At the end of the 90 minutes, I submit my match report and that concludes my job as a supporter. It's a tough job, maybe the toughest ever. It's infuriating watching 11 cowards and incompetent fucks not be able to do their jobs to perfection every 3 days for 5 months in row. Imagine having the temerity of not doing what I want every second. I expect the highest levels from myself, my family and friends and so I expect the same from everyone else in the universe. Empathy is a word made up by losers to justify their failures.
I'm entitled to a 5-0 win every 3 days and it's not a particularly big ask. I'm not asking for the impossible.
I'm preaching to the choir here but the biggest problem with this club is that Pep is a massive rag, masquerading as a blue. Joe Mercer would have sawed off his mouth than smile after a derby loss. Everything Pep has done until now is to destabilize Man City. It's not the 70s anymore, players just don't get derbies. Back then, city players would tear their ACL on the pitch rather than concede a goal. This is also why pre-takeover we won every single derby.
Can't wait to buy better players and a truly great coach who can win 38/38 games. Anything less is pathetic and deserves 4000 pages of scorn, contempt and an analysis at the molecular level so that it doesn't happen again.
