16 goals for Portsmouth this season is a decent return and he does score goals wherever he goes, at International level too. He is also better on the ground than many give him credit for.

The talk of Ibrahimovic, Eto etc is fine as long as they are prepared to come. If not, Crouch is not a bad option and offers an aerial threat that we don't currently have. He might also be a good link man for Robbie and the others joining from midfield.
 
Crouch doesn't suck this year, he has 11 goals on the season playing for lowly Portsmouth. He was good at Liverpool b/c he was playing with great players and he is playing with crap at Portsmouth and still has found the net 11 times. He has more goals than Adebayor and Berbatov and only one less than Rooney and they are playing with all of the best players in the world. Something to be said of that.

One of the reasons Crouch has had obstacles is because of how he looks .
Close your eyes , and you'll still hear goal goal goal goal .
Wtf does it matter what he looks like ? The guy is a class player , and one of the best strikers in England . If he was Spanish , 5ft 7 , and called Petre Crouche , you would pay £30 mill for him in a hurry .

Crouch isn't good enough for us. People slag Lavezzi off on the other thread yet you say go and buy Crouch.
Lavezzi is in a different league in terms of general footballing ability.
Crouch is a boring, tall player who would not improve us.

We need players to improve us not weaken us.
