PGMOL Apologise to Everton. It WAS a Penalty!

It was offside, that being the case there was no penalty shout and Everton were not "Unlucky" or "Hard done by", it was offside.

Tierney did actually signal for offside on the field. So I'm not entirely sure what has gone on - all I know is the PGMOL & Riley have lost even more credibility in this latest fuck up.

The new extra rhetoric is that even if it was offside, it was a different phase of play after Ederson saved the shot.

Tierney’s offside call confuses it further. It was given for the offside after the handball appeal, not before. Everton’s player on the left wing touch line was adjudged to have been offside.

The offside before the appeal was never looked at.

No one knows. It may well have been, or may have been deemed to be a different phase of play after the shot was saved.

It really doesn’t matter as the points are banked. All the uproar now is for social media banter only. It’ll blow over when Liverpool/Everton get a decision in their favour.
