Phil and Jack on the lash?

Not sure it’s about taking sides?

Talksport you say? The radio station that makes mountains out of mole hills because they have to fill the airwaves 24/7 in a way to provoke people to phone in and waste their money?

They went out. Took it too far. Pep admonished them and made them sit on the bench at Newcastle. I hope he banned them having hot water bottles too.

It’s a non-story really. It happened; it got dealt with.

Good for Ric’s advertising bandwidth though!
It's not a non story, if it was Pep would not have gone public.

He clearly see's a possible issue and has made the players aware that it is simply not acceptable.

Both players have previous.

Not 'losing' at all, and certainly not 'going personal'. I'm simply pointing out that people with different backgrounds / levels of education frequently have differing views on matters.

I get the impression that (like many others on here) if Phil Foden was your lad, you'd probably pat him on the back and maybe even celebrate his 'laddish' behaviour. If he was my lad, I'd be exceptionally disappointed with him.

I think this whole situation makes Grealish and Foden look like City's version of Dumb and Dumber. That's my personal view. It's just that my expectations of behaviour and standards are clearly different to yours.

There are no 'winners and losers' in this mate, just multi millionaires setting bad examples.
So basically the higher the education you have the more of a misery you're likely to be?
Glad I opted out at 16 and chose the path I did. I might have lower expectations of what acceptable behavior is but damn it's a much more fun existence.

You are to both.

different backgrounds? are you going to admit your some Tory toff who went to Oxford or Cambridge?

Again talking about how others would be as parents.

Nothing more condescending than what you've just put.
We have different views on life. Get used to it.

I left school at 15, worked hard, played hard, and always tried to behave in an appropriate manner. I never knowingly or intentionally embarrassed my family, friends or employers.

I've had a wonderful life and have great pride in my children who are successful and happy. I see no reason whatsoever to admire or respect anyone who doesn't expect a similar level of standards that I do. I strongly suspect that pep Guardiola takes a similar view on matters.

What does 'not impressed with the condition they reported to training in' mean? Hungover, a little worse for wear? I think going out and having a good time is totally fine but I think drinking to the extent that you run the risk of still being inebriated the next morning at training is absurd behaviour. No idea why players can't just enjoy a decent night out without getting plastered (if that is indeed what happened). Grealish comes out of this looking worse than Foden in my eyes.

That’s just the problem no one knows. 60 pages of peoples opinions and no facts. Only the club will know the facts.

Internally?

Pep and the club were happy to go public, so your argument has gone in one.
It will be finished as far as the club are concerned. Just the moral arbitrators that hang around BM that are still trying their best for it to remain an issue.

What's funny?

The manager of our club publicly berates two of his players.

Another player Walker is absent for two games "illness" that's a non story, the guy has lost a close friend, had a nightmare last appearance in Germany and may well be ill, whatever the reasons the club are keeping quite. It's a non story because the club want whatever reason/s to be private.
