We should offer him at least what Grealish is on.
Phil wants more money mate. He could pay for the soccer school out of his “new” contract. We have no idea really what is being discussed. He's obviously a brilliant player for us. He & his advisors may be looking for something a little different. Shares in the club/academy or similar as part of his wage. To eventually become a part of the coaching setup, management or even ownership. Who knows. City continue to revolutionise football with cfg so some sort of new thinking may happen with Phil. I worked in LA for a bit & was wandering down the street one day...low and behold there was a David Beckham soccer school right in front of me in a place i didnt really expect it. Maybe Phil would like to structure part of his wages into something along those lines for when he hangs up his boots. There must be a reason for the delay but i for one cannot see him at any other club.
Whats the offer at the moment any idea? I think i read it would be around 150k per week. Surely that would suffice for a couple of years, (being on a par with Bernardo), then if his progress continues upwards a new deal would be offered. Just like a new one was offered a couple of years ago when he progressed.Phil wants more money mate. He could pay for the soccer school out of his “new” contract.
Maybe Phil thinks City aren’t going to pay him enough. Maybe the dust needs to settle after Phil’s no show for our USA tour and he thinks a better offer will be forthcoming.
If these numbers are accurate then that’s atrocious. Don’t know what is worse, what relative pittance that Foden is on given his importance to this team or the ridiculous wedge that Jack is on.EDIT- this still says that’s the case

(It does say he’s 0 years old, mind!)
So you think half of what Jack is on would suffice for Foden?Whats the offer at the moment any idea? I think i read it would be around 150k per week. Wasnt the Usa tour a covid related issue?
Yes reports ranged from £150k to £200k per week. I agree that a couple of years at those figures is fantastic money but Phil and his peole don’t seem to see it that way. Maybe his market value is more than that.Whats the offer at the moment any idea? I think i read it would be around 150k per week. I think Phil is worth at least what Bernardo is on at the moment if reports on here are correct. So you think half of what Jack is on would suffice for Foden?
