I thought he looked slow and every inch a centre half playing in midfield (not dissimilar to Stones in the same position)

He was injured a lot, to be fair. Could have had a League Cup opportunity at right back when Danilo was having fitness issues too, and I think he would have got one, but now that ship has sailed, too, yes...The player who caught the eye pre-season IMO was young Luke Bolton, who seems to be well off the radar......
