Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

"those three can all play wide and as a number 10, will send a few dizzy if it's how I think it will be!!"

those three can all play wide and as a number 10,

can all play wide and as a number 10

Aubameyang can't play as a number 10.

That's why I suggested that he wouldn't play behind Aguero, and he'd play on the right, or if any of the 2 strikers would play behind the other, it would be Aguero, who is more than happy to drop deep and get on the ball, unlike Aubameyang who doesn't play that way at all.

And for having the temerity to point out that massive flaw in your plan, you've spent the last half an hour telling me I'm an idiot, how much more you know about football, why I'm wrong, and should stick to a video game I've never played.

Except anyone who's watched Aubameyang play knows he'll never spend any time at 10, he doesn't have the skillset to do that.

Temerity? You pompous oath, don't be so precious, it is hardly my fault if you're unable to understand the notion of 'occasionally', so yes I will question your intellect rather than sugar coating the initial statement of 'he's not very technical', that stands and is able to be interpreted you buffoon, and 'occasionally' doesn't mean a fixed term, are we getting it yet? You say he doesn't have the skills set, I disagree, in fact, certain that he will be 'interchangable' (there's that word again), with the other 3....

Anyway precious, you are right , the matter of fact attitude demands it....

In my opinion when a player lacks technique it's always more of a risk that he could flop in a new league/team. The risk is always bigger. Bony is an example, he's never been great technically but he scored lots of goals at Swansea. You can't be fooled by goals alone.

I couldn't agree more about Bony, but less so in Aubameyang's case because clearly has more going for him than Wilf. Mobility and being able to run being one of them.

I do think more is being made about Aubameyangs percieved lack of technique than needs to be, mind. He's a goal machine speed merchant, based on last season anyway, play on those strengths.

Even with Aubameyang added we'll still need to add at least 1 more striker. Our current options are Aguero, Bony, Iheanacho and (potentially) Aubameyang, which means for 6 weeks, from Christmas onwards, we'll have Aguero only as the other 3 jet off to yet another African Cup of Fucking Nations.
Oh ffs.

I don't love this one, afraid he may be a bit of a product of the Dortmund system. Maybe/hopefully his speed fits the PL. He def can't play behind anyone, so he'd have to be out on the wing. Im just waiting for some strong links to some RB and LBs to come along soon. How on earth are we going to let Sime and R. Rodriguez go to Athletico and Arsenal?!?!?

I hope to god he doesn't say Pogba

Either one of the Barca 3 or Bale. I'm not saying we'll get them, but we'll be covering all options just in case. I think we are balls deep in for any of those who become available.

We probably spoke with his reps who are quite eager to get him a move to us.

I'm just sitting here reminiscing about our last night's premature meltdown.

Why all the flapping on here? Just because a couple of papers have dismissed the rumours! Not 1 of the hierarchy at city have come out and dismissed it! Time to sit back and relax and let the people do there job! Not listen to the rag infested media!
