The key thing is Mancini and Pizarro have worked together before. This isn't just Roberto throwing something at the wall and hoping it will stick. Its not like Leslie rushing into a host of quick signings at QPR that's the type of transfer management that needs to be avoided here.

No reason why he couldn't be a useful addition. This isn't someone who is going to disrupt the whole balance of the team (wasn't around back then but I've read about Rodney Marsh signing years ago and the impact it had on the team in a title run in) probably someone we will see more of in the UEFA games and as an impact sub.
