PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Parry has his tentacles everywhere. Two of the three speaking to the Government (Parry and Debbie Hewitt FA Chair) are lifelong LFC fans based in Cheshire. Richard Masters (Aston Villa fan) has very close links to MUFC Directors who vetted his appointment. And so the Circus rolls on.
The timing of the investigation of City (and now Everton) seems like a political stunt by the PL to show the Government that football doesn't need an independent regulator but I think it might backfire.
Even has one tentacle in the first team squad in the Academy building where his son is employed as a nutritionist

just watching SSN.
They’re talking about bids for the scum and have just said that they are currently making a loss.
£210m over the last 3 seasons.
FFP come out come out wherever you are…
Operation ‘protect the elite’
Ah, but that was all spent on duct tape to plug the holes in the roof, so it's infrastructure spending and doesn't count.

The thing about conspiracy theories, is that some of them are right, at least in part, the problem is the people that are most inclined to believe them are usually incapable of applying facts and logic to the theory, especially if it’s a juicy one.

They let their hearts rule their heads too readily, because they so want it to be true, principally for reasons of self-vindication.

Too many people would need to be in on this to make it remotely plausible.

The PEDs thing, maybe I guess, but the notion that there was a widespread conspiracy to make Leicester win the league that year from before a ball was kicked descends into the realms of the absurd.
It might help if people on here answered a little questionnaire, asking whether they believe in a variety of conspiracy theories, ranging from Moon Landing not happening, Lizards running the world, Covid Plandemic etc.

You could add little icons under people's names and then decide if you wanted to believe their posts about the entire Liverpool team having asthma, if VAR was introduced by FIFA to help the red shirted teams in England, or if Jamie Vardy, the refs and the Asian syndicates agreed in 2015 that he should run into the box and then fall down a lot, so that a few bets could be won.

Might just save a few pages of discussion.

Let's start with a simple one - Do you think Princess Diana was murdered?

Leicester wasn't exactly the romantic story of beating big, bad Man City it was made out to be.

Mate, I live in Leicester and I can tell you 100's of local businesses were taken for £millions by "their" club when the administrator knocked on the door. They were called in a couple of months after they finished building the stadium in 2002. Dodgy as fuck and hard-working people lost out massively. The company which built the stadium was forced to just forget about the final payment of £5.5m. The East Midlands Ambulance Service was left with a bad debt of £16,000.

But City are the pariah of English football.
