PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The huge majority of match going blues always get behind the club.....even the quiet ones who go every week.

In times of adversity we get even more supportive ....and angry.

Was swithering about going on Sunday
Trains are fucked up and means an overnight stay
But after yesterday I'm definitely going !!!

Are we actually going to start banning these 'journalists' from the ground now, surely theres no way we can allow them back in after all this?
Journalists are reporting the allegations. The allegations are serious. Where have the allegations come from? We all need to think bigger than some hack at Talksport, even if they are enjoying it a bit too much.

Haha. Jamie Jackson you sly, rag bastard.

In Seluk, he's gone to the first person you would think of that would stick the knife in City, and Pep's back, and it's completely backfired on him.

What a prick.
I expect every gutter sports journalist will be trying to dig up dirt from players who were around 2009-2017 who have departed the club.

You're a paedophile!

What attracts you to kids?

How often do you get these urges?

Don't you feel guilty about the mental, physical & emotional harm paedophilia causes?

Do you associate with other paedos?

Why do you think there should be no minimum sex age?

Sorry, what, pardon? What am I on about? You're NOT a paedophile? You've NEVER been a paedophile? In fact, outside of me & my mates' constant accusations that you're a paedo, you've never been questioned by the police or child protection services?

Fine. I'll run a Twitter Livestream anyway where the world can discuss the accusations of you being a paedo, & our resident "expert" will outline your punishment & sentence "IF" the "ALLEGATIONS" are "PROVEN" & lead to a charge & a criminal conviction.

That's essentially what you've done to my club over FFP.

What you should've done is gone to the foundation of this issue which is FFP itself, & tried to justify (if you agree with it), why an owner should be barred from using his OWN MONEY to invest in HIS BUSINESS, like every other business sector allows you to?

You need to ask why is a well run club without debt, being constantly hounded by other elite clubs, who're using their football associations to stop City's progress?

You've perpetuated this nonsense further by ignoring how the very essence of FFP is fundamentally wrong. In my FFP discussions with opposition fans, I keep it that simple & don't muddy the water with the "latest" FFP allegations, which sounds suspiciously like the previous two allegations which were both bullshit.

Simply:

FFP is fundamentally wrong.

You're NOT a paedophile.

Getting into discussions about the specifics of the paedophile/FFP - charges/punishment will damage yours/City's reputation & leave an indelible stain, whether guilty or not!

Why can't you see that you've unwittingly played the role City's detractors needed, to further demonise us to all & sundry? :-/
From all that my take is… What type of stain? I’m sure I’m not the only one curious.

If Manchester City are found guilty, league must make an example of them

HENRY WINTER
And the extensive urban redevelopment in East Manchester on the back of the Abu Dhabi/City? Is Winter suggesting that PL send in the bulldozers to flatten the hundreds of houses, sports facilities and community centres that have been built as a direct result of the Abu Dhabi funds. In addition thousands of Mancunians have had their lives uplifted, whether City fans or inhabitants of East Manchester.
Winter's abysmal standard of journalism belongs in Putin's Moscow.

Business as usual. All will be well.

I never realised how much City were prepared to divulge to CAS but weren't allowed to.

We need to get behind the lads these next few weeks, make it a real bear pit.

All I know is this as serious as it gets, in terms of them coming to bury us, but we do have the evidence to answer it all back.

The players had no knowledge of any such charges prior to Spurs.

They were just shit.
As I said earlier - a much appreciated and needed post Tolm.

Although - good in a way to hear "business as usual", I do feel we now need to be on a war footing - all of us including the club and how it treats the media and FA whilst all this is going on.

It was a good listen and appreciate you doing it, although I was a bit surprised when, at around the 50-minute mark, you described City’s statement as “silly and not true” and your co-host chipped in that the club’s response has been “laughable”.

Each to their own and all that but felt like a dream sound bite for our many, many haters.

Also, now you’ve had a bit longer to reflect, do you still think this is “completely unconnected” to the government’s White Paper?
I may be in a minority but I also thought City's response was poor. The sarcastic tone was stupid given the situation and will not do us any favours in the long-term. We now have to present our case to an independent panel and the tone we adopt will influence the outcome. A flippant tone is a very bad idea. I would have liked a strong statement which just made it clear that we rejected the allegations and had very strong evidence to disprove them.
