PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

None of the charges nor their wording implies any law breaking at all, only Premier League rule breaking so I don’t know how you’ve worked that out.
Thats why I was looking for input from other posters who are more knowledgeable than me on the subject. I don’t profess to be an expert on anything/everything.

So, City were cleared by CAS, but the PL are now saying City breached UEFA FFP regulations.

Get to FUCK!

A fair article from the BBC in my opinion.

What have City been charged with?

In a statement the Premier League said City breached rules requiring them to provide "accurate financial information that gives a true and fair view of the club's financial position".

This information covered club revenue, which includes sponsorship income and operating costs.

Further alleged breaches relate to rules requiring full details of manager remuneration - from the 2009-10 to 2012-13 seasons, when Roberto Mancini was in charge - and player remuneration between 2010-11 and 2015-16.

The Premier League said City breached rules related to Uefa regulations, including Financial Fair Play (FFP), from 2013-14 to 2017-18, as well as Premier League rules on profitability and sustainability from 2015-16 to 2017-18.

In 2020 European football governing body Uefa ruled that City committed "serious breaches" of FFP regulations between 2012 and 2016.

City were not given advance warning of the Premier League statement. They were called at the same time the statement was published.

They also note the timing of the statement given the white paper on football governance is about to be published. It is felt that bringing this case it likely to be used by the Premier League as evidence of them being able to deal with governance issues itself.

I’m reacting to what has happened like everyone else on here. None of us know the truth. If you have anything more informative maybe post it instead of pointing out flaws in others posts.
No information at all - like everyone else so I remain optimistic that our club know the truth. So I don’t post things like:

IF we have done wrong then we need to take our punishment as long as it is fair and fits the crime.

Whatever happens and im not sure anything will.We are all blues and if u followed us through the 80s and 90s then you will never stop following the boys. The younger element who have known nothing but the good times may struggle.
I thought that when we beat Newcastle in 76 and finished runners up to the dippers in 77 iy would always be like that.As another poster said though prem football is big business Dippers,Arsenal and Everton would have failed so called ffp if they had qualified for europe.Corruption is rife as anyone who can see with var its bent.Webb even said Ratboys goal would be disallowed now.Scudamore we need a new winner every few years not good for business utd being shit.
Wire up the fuckers so we can here the bent decisions. The money it generates corruption is inevitable. The only way to stop it is ala NFL all teams get an equal share of all monies generated couldnt see the dippers, scum and arse going for it though.

Sky Sports have the finance expert saying he doesn’t expect anything this season and that exclusion would be very extreme and very unlikely. He also doesn’t think stripping titles is at all likely and punishments for the future are much more likely.

I rarely venture onto this thread. It being alot safer staying in the Liverpool & "Off Topic" sections.
Have to say today I turned off TS on the way in to work as Jim Shite was really at his weasel worst. He really did seem to be loving it all.
My simple line on this is....
Innocent until proven guilty....
&
Let him without sin cast the first stone.
I'm pretty sure that if they look close enough they can find issues with all clubs.
