PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The thing is the Premier League does not need United anymore, Manchester City and the others sell the TV rights.
It's now Haaland and City that Kids are talking about worldwide, City selling more and more Kits with Haaland and Grealish names on them,

The only thing United and Arsenal sell more off is YouTube hits, I Wonder Why
Is it because Mark Goldbridge is a superb broadcaster or is it because they might as well be Celtic?

Be interesting to see the atmosphere when we turn up to Goodison this season. Are they going to realise we’re actually on the same side? Doubt it. The rags and their red neighbours will probably get a warmer welcome!

It is staggering that supporters of other clubs do not realise what a crock of shit FFP actually is, and the reason why it was brought into being.

We'll only know the what the PL will do for certain, if/when Everton appeal.

We could end up unduly pooing ourselves unnecessarily. We've got until Thursday for Everton to make a move, so we'll know a lot more by then.

HOWEVER, the PL could still take a view on suspending sanctions pending appeals based on the severity of the case/sanction.

Such procedural uncertainty is criminal in such a huge industry. Let's hope the independent regulator is setup soon & has more teeth & integrity than OFCOM & the like.

The vast majority of this thread and posters on it are unduly pooing themselves, mate.

I realise that this is akin to people pointing at City and shouting "GUILTY!" without knowing the facts of the case, but in respect to Everton posting an approx. 20million loss over 3 years and getting a 10pts league deduction, is it public knowledge as to how much the rags recently failed FFP by (also over 3 years) to receive a 250bag fine?

I only know that it was "very minor", but how minor is "very minor"?
This would be very interesting to know, when we initially failed Uefa's FFP regulations we were hit with a £50 million fine, squad reductions and our books open for investigation.

As far as I recall we thought we were within FFP using Uefa's own tool kit before they moved the goal posts.

Without having the figures to hand lets say we failed by £100 million, in that case we were fined 50% if the overspend, by the same logic the Rags would have overspent by £500k, would they really go through the process over a £500k Overspend? Very doubtful.

Something stinks.

We haven't been found guilty of anything yet so they'd be a bit previous.
Thats the point I was making, the 5 clubs made their complaints before the IC hearing on EFC. It appears there is a process that has to be followed. Clubs seeking compensation need to establish the right to pursue before hand. The ruling was kept in house by the PL until yesterday. Presumably if EFC were exonerated it would have been buried.
