PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If you look at the independent commission that handed down the 10 points deduction for Everton. One guy is now working on behalf of Leeds to extract compensation out of Everton and another was a finance director at West Ham, how can that be an independent panel with no vested interest? Expect more of the same coming for us.
If that's true it's totally corrupt. No one connected to any other club should be involved in any decisions which could damage one of their rivals. This is not a regulatory system. Can you imagine LFC being allowed to pressurise lawyers acting for an Independent Regulator appointed by the Government.

How can we ‘go first’ if we don’t get charged? They put forward their ‘evidence’ then we take it down bit by bit. :)

We've already been charged. I know what you're saying and agree that's how it works in a criminal trial before the prosecution goes again (at least that's how it works in Scotland anyway), but something tells me litigation is treated differently which is why I ask.

So it's supposed to be an independent tribunal, but Liverpool are supposedly pressuring their mates, the Premier League, to expedite the case. If the PL start putting pressure on the tribunal to get the job done...surely Liverpool want justice to be done. That means things should be allowed to run their course. You Always Walk Alone etc etc

City should just refuse to acknowledge the tribunals decision if it is corrupt as we all think.

Stop playing matches, stop it all and wait for the regulator to be installed.

No way are we going to be able to take a huge fine and points deduction. We would never hear the end of it…ever!

Take the gloves off City and do whatever it takes to make sure the mud does not officially stick. The ramblings of the media will alway be a thing unfortunately.
Walking away from UEFA when their dirty tricks emerged and putting our faith in CAS turned out to be a smart move. We don't even know who is on the PL-picked panel considering allegations which could destroy our club which has been at the heart of the Manchester community since 1894.

that's not creative accounting , it's illegal

Is it? I don’t know the details but if we employed Mancini as an advisor by city football group why would that be illegal? It’s not allowed by ffp but it’s certainly not illegal in the real world as long as everything is declared to the tax authorities.

Pretty sure they would be prepared to give it a go.

Have a look on the Everton thread there’s a few interesting posts highlighting it. We’ve got an Arsenal season ticket holder heading up the panel on City’s hearing, looks like it can never really be a proper independent hearing.

We’ve been here before with the dippers applying pressure where they shouldn’t. There’s two teams in this whole scenario who have way to much influence by looks of it.
