PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Did anyone know this?

Will his expertise be useful in our case, even though we've hired top barristers and lawyers, independent of the club?

The same media cunts who are demanding Everton get their points back on appeal for something they’ve admitted want us punished without a hearing first. Hope none of them ever end of jury duty
Yes 10 points is far too harsh for concrete admissions of overspending written in black and white in their accounts yet they want us thrown out of the league system altogether & title’s stripped for unproven alleged indiscretions from as far back as 2009. What have we done wrong? You’ve cheated? How? You just have.

Pre season, Yokohama v Celtic, att 2 men and a dog
Yokohama v City att 62,000 sell out
Yet they are a global colossus and we are a diddy club.
From our local newspaper (the 'ManC Evening News'.. not!) last summer:

"It was a record-breaking start to the summer for City as they came from behind to defeat Yokohama Marinos on Sunday night.

61,618 fans packed into the National Stadium in Japan, the record attendance for a J.League match, and roughly treble how many supporters (20,263 - 'Japan Times') came to watch Marinos against Celtic earlier in the week."

As you say, we're just diddy.. though I don't mean we're 'Doo-wah-diddy' or 'P-Diddy'.. and neither are we one of 'Tickling Stick Dicky Mint's Diddymen'..

These extra charges to other clubs have me worried.
With all the press surrounding it and asking what about city makes me feel we will be found guilty through association.
The IC thinking well if Everton and forest are guilty then so must city.
Like your mates being involved in a fight and you just being there gets you a guilty verdict.
It will be very hard for the IC to block out all these reports , independent regulatory and fans statements for it not to affect our outcome
It’s like overpaying your mortgage to save on interest payments whilst your neighbour is Fred West and the press saying you are both guilty of crimes

10 points does seem a lot. maybe they should have started lower allowing scope to increase the points on repeat offences. or maybe suspend some of the points.

Sheikh Mansour nearly did buy Everton. He had a £100m deal agreed with Kenwright, but as soon as Billy Boy found out how rich HRH was, he doubled the price which pissed Sheikh Mansour off.

Around this crucial point, enter Garry Cooke with his now infamous PowerPoint presentation. Out went negotiations with Mike Ashley & Bill Kenwright, & a deal was struck with Thaksin Shinawatra for the sale of Manchester City instead.

The rest is history... :-)
Thaksin deserves statue for selling city to SM.
