PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The charges are way more serious than that. It's not a concerted plan to destroy MCFC, these are allegations of serious financial misdeeds that unfortunately helped the club acquire and pay players they would otherwise not be able to afford. As punitive as you think this may seem, it had to come out at some point.

Arsenal fan heading the committee.
This four eyed rag mardarse the chair of the premier league.
Just need taggart doing refreshments and scouse plod doing security then i'll feel really confident of a win.

There are four generally recognised categories of reasonable apprehension of bias:

  • interest, where some direct or indirect interest in the proceedings, whether pecuniary or otherwise, gives rise to an apprehension of prejudice, partiality or pre-judgment;
  • conduct, where conduct, either in the course of or outside the proceedings gives rise to an apprehension of bias;
  • association, where the apprehension of prejudgment or other bias results from some direct or indirect relationship, experience or contact with a person or persons interested in, or otherwise involved in, the proceedings; and
  • extraneous information, where knowledge of some prejudicial but inadmissible fact or circumstance gives rise to an apprehension of bias.

The headache the league would have if they do this is massive. It not a case of you finish second so title is yours. Everyone will want extra money for moving up a position.
What about if we took 6 points off a team that got relegated by 5 points? Could they claim they would have stayed up if it wasn't for us ?
Reply games ?

Didn't Sheff United get £25m for the West Ham Tevez thing?

There will be no quick outcomes, which suggests those quotes are bogus or made by someone with zero knowledge of the processes involved.

Ziegler seems to be one of the club's go to guys (he got the Liverpool hack story) and he's saying by the end of the season for the Premier League panel.

We need to refrain from the whataboutery, life is full of it and is ignored as and when required.

Don't bother wasting oxygen with people on Twitter or armchair fiscal experts.

When things are serious, people such as President Biden have to jump on a plane to Saudi and fist-bump the Crown Prince to beg for more oil.

Or Trump travels to Abu Dhabi and is told where to sit by Sheikh Mansour.

This is so much bigger than City if it comes to it.

If we think the UK is in trouble now, wait until Sunak picks up the blower and is told £50bn is being invested elsewhere.
I don't think it will have diplomatic repercussions somehow. Much will depend on what happens when it is assessed independently. City have once again stated that they have faith in the process. At what point does Sheikh Mansour intervene? If we lose the independent hearing but before the High Court hearing?

Funny that, because the club think otherwise. Either the club, the PL or you are lying?

Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.

PS. Arsenal fan. 2 posts. F*ck off, Gooner!
