PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Speaking to Spurs fans yesterday was a good reality check that we should all take comfort from. We are fed red media bullshit and forced to listen to ignorant rags and the odd scouser (we quote their shite too often in here).
Each Spurs fan said how bitter rags and scousers are. “Pure jealousy” and that our club is an example of how a club should be run. We don’t overpay etc.
This backs up my experiences of other club’s fans and what others have said on here. Most football fans know and see the tiresome rags for what they are. Also said that they couldn’t sit and have a rational conversation with them. Delusional and arrogant.
They just have too much of a mouth in our lives and in the media. They really better off ignored. You should sleep happy in our glorious halcyon days.
Btw respect to Spurs fans they are generally not a reflection of their chairman.

I heard Matt Slater on a podcast for the Athletic who said something along the lines of 'these are Big Serious charges and Big Serious charges require Big Serious evidence to make them stick, and I'm surprised the PL brought the charges because I don't see what that evidence is.'

Which is more or less what a number of posters on this thread have been saying from Day One.

Which begs the question, if an allegedly Big Serious journalist spots the Big Serious hole in the middle of the PL's case, why hasn't he written a Big Serious article about it somewhere?

The only answer that seems even vaguely plausible is that there's no advantage in it for him. Maybe that's as simple as 'no clicks in in pro-City article' or maybe it's more a question of 'Any article that pisses off the Red tops and you can kiss goodbye to your juicy clickbait exclusive interviews'

Either way, it tells you all you need to know about the state of sports journalism.
I'd have thought it's a lot easier to give those kind of opinions on a podcast. They tend to be more informal and conversational.

His articles about the charges have been shared on here, and got a reasonable reception, as they tend to be pretty dry and factual.

In an article, you might see something like, "these charges have a high bar, and will be very difficult to prove", but unless it's an opinion piece, you're less likely to get a journalist saying they think the PL are mad for bringing them.

I have had the same. Its only the rags and dippers that have a problem with us

The select committee were pathetic they became tribal quoting my club The issue they need to concentrate on was the relationship between the authorities in football FA, FPL, EFL, Conference etc and representatives of all should have been there The EPL and EFL cant even agree the way going forward The SC should have been bashing their heads together for the greater good of football and pushing for them to get agreement Masters and Parry are out of their depth and its clear that football need a strong regulator unfortunately we will get a weak livered clown
The question I would have asked of Parry is weren't you responsible for creating the EPL designed to suite the red shirts that became a cartel only broken up by the investment in Chelsea and City?
Also tell us about, the cartel's "Project Big Picture" PL version 2 that aimed at even greater control from a few clubs mainly owned by Americans
Expecting something which is a construct of the British political system to be better than what the PL come up with is probably foolhardy.

Nick Harris has been speaking to one of the cleaning staff and he’s going to expose everything

Going back to the Ceferin interview in the Telegraph it's clear that it was part of the increasingly strident campaign by senior executives and writers against the Redbird takeover. There are multiple articles a day all vigorously against it & not even a single one ever supporting it. As an example of where they are this is the cartoon in today's edition:

Wow !!! ffs speechless.

Dont worry, he will disappear with his tail between his legs when we are cleared.

As his mental health will take a dive that salad would be proud of.

All he does is try to instill doubt, funny as fck when we are cleared as its obviously his wish for us to be punished.
Maybe he’s a friend of Harris ..
