PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Actually, it is true
Friends of ours emigrated to Australia around 20 years ago
My daughter (27 years old) posted pics on Instagram of us at the parade and the Dad commented back something along the lines of "what are you celebrating for? You've got 115 charges to face"

He's not stupid. He works as a regional manager for one of the largest banks in Australia and is a lifetime Ipswich supporter
He may not be stupid, however he is a fucking bell end.

Ok I'll explain why I think 20 points is a likely outcome. It's a penalty that is severe enough to be significant (and outweigh the penalties given to Forest and Everton, meaning fans of other clubs can shut up about City not having to take their medicine) whilst simultaneously not actually affecting City that much as with a 20 point deduction they are likely to still qualify for the CL etc.

My hypothesis is based on how businesses operate. Also regarding guilt or otherwise - there are shades of grey always when it comes to legal proceedings and even if you know you are totally innocent there's always the fear that the court/jury etc don't see it that way - maybe the opposition lawyer spins a great story, maybe there's inherent bias on the part of the jury etc.

Which is why I think they won't want to risk it. They'll take a penalty 'in the interests of putting the matter to bed' whilst simultaneously maintaining innocence and stating dissatisfaction with the whole process, both sides move on, and in a couple of years the City fans sit back with popcorn watching Chelsea get bent over a desk by the PL before they go in dry.

All opinion, probably worth fuck all, I've absolutely zero inside info etc.

You.
Awake, at work, eating your tea, watching TV, walking the dog, going to bed, waking up.

We've ruined you.

Harris sees the City FFP saga as a meal ticket. He doesn’t want anyone else taking the bread out of his mouth. He’s a starving freelance in a shrinking market.

This is essentially it. His whole career relies upon the charges going the PL's way, if it doesn't he's finished. So he doesn't want anyone on his patch stealing 'viewers'.

He went freelance recently, not by choice in my opinion but because nobody would have him. Its not worked out for him either, I wouldn't say he's picked up enough subscribers on Substack to make a living.

As someone has also alluded to, his attitude is horrendous, he speaks to people like dirt, so I'm not surprised nobody would hire him.

Surprisingly though this Magic fella knows even less than Nick. So watching them 2 pull each other part is a bit funny.

Either way neither are worth listening too, @projectriver has summarised both sides of the case perfectly in recent months.

Very possibly. But he also absolutely sees the hat fella as the chancer that he is without seeing some of the fundamental issues with his framing which many of us were saying.

Still let the fuckers fight.

Bloody hell! I follow a few people on You Tube re reselling car boot sort of thing. Just watched one of the latest videos and he comes across a City shirt in a charity shop and says ‘cheats’ and ‘115 charges’! Immediately unsubscribed. Not putting up with that shit on something unrelated to football. Guess what? Arsenal fan!

Although more than a bit fucking funny that Nick Harris has outed this joker for knowing fuck all, and the joker has outed Nick for having close correspondence with the PL lawyers and now thinks they won't get anything over the line. Hmmm.

Hi Nick, hi joker.
How can you read that when it keeps changing to another exchange?
