PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Crazy, demented, as in he is constantly posting about City on X/Twitter; he’s mad as a hatter . This expression, dating from the early 1800s, alludes to exposure to the chemicals formerly used in making felt hats, which caused tremors and other nervous symptoms.
That accounts for the number of nutters in Stockport seeing as it was a hat making centre :D

Why doesn't he join the forum as himself, let him tell us how he really feels about us and City and the allegations and we could maybe put an arm round him and extract all this hate and anger and make him a better person?
Come on Nick, leave your bitterness at the door, we're reaching out to you here and holding an olive branch.
You could invite the magic hat too and we'll all lay our cards on the table.

I think, based on a brief look at some of his previous tweets, he's been quite clear about his feelings on City and our fan base.

I don't think he needs City to be found guilty for some kind of fulfilment, I think he needs a therapist and I mean that sincerely. He's gone down an unhealthy rabbit hole and based on his behaviour on twitter and how he interacts with others, he's not damaging City's reputation, he's only damaging his own.

As a collective, I think we just need to ignore him. I wasted a few minutes of my life reviewing some of his and the other fellas posts and as per, learned nothing new about the case or likely outcome. Its quite mind blowing that so much has been written, by professional journalists and random people online, with barely any tangible developments since the charges were announced.

Think I'm going to try and step back from it myself. As others have said, there are times when I'm optimistic, almost bullish about the outcome and then others where it feels like the results are going to be catastrophic. Either way, the whole thing is a mess and for that, the Premier League have to take responsibility.

A mate of mine writes books and the visceral hatred of other authors who encroach on "his" specialist subject is something to behold even to the extent of legal proceedings ensuing from exchanged insults in print. Judging from the venom in the exchanges, I suspect Nick is preparing a book for release on the day of the verdict and sees the Hatter as a potential rival.

Nick reminds me of that journalist from the original series of the hulk in the 70s always one step behind bill bixby and not quite catching him as he escaped to the next town

His whole life was dedicated to catching him
And exposing who the hulk really was.

I don’t follow the charges shit as much as others but a quick peek on the cults forum months ago they kept mentioning nick harris
Didn’t have a clue who he was

Now I know why.

Agreed. Like so many things in life, this all comes down to money.

There’s money to be made from bashing City and Nick Harris currently has a decent market share. The last thing he wants is for someone else to come along and take a piece of the cake.

The fact the original Magic Hat thread got so much traction (particularly with fans of Utd, Liverpool etc) presented a real problem for Harris and he has lashed out.

No doubt he has bills to pay and as you outline in your post it’s not uncommon for people to respond in such an aggressive way when their livelihood is under threat.

The mask has slipped however. Harris doesn’t care about the good of the game. He doesn’t even care about City.

This all reduces down to making money. How very sad.

So, Nick is still fronting about sources coming forward; from City, CFG and now Etihad.

What's next? : "I've spoken to UAE government officials, I even knew Sheikh Mansour before he bought City and he laid out his whole plan, to funnel money secretly into City"

That's before there were any official meetings for FFP and besides the fact that it didn't end up being necessary before the first round of FFP account reviews had even took place, in 2014(as per the 2012/13 far market value range of Etihad revealed at CAS). I wouldn't put it past him.

I don't think he's taken to creating accounts, just to have arguments with himself, for attention. That would be too Norman Bates, even for Nick.

Surely, even Liverpool and United fans must suspect he might be a tiny bit of a bullshitter, at this point though? With some of(most of) the claims he makes. All these sources he claims to have come forward but he's not sharing anything because he respects confidentiality and all that(see you can trust him, imaginary whistleblower in Nick's head).
Don't forget that that the Sheik and Nick went to different schools together.

Stepping back and just flicking through the negativity is definitely the best way forward for anyone's mental health. I honestly stopped myself reading or adding to it a long time ago and it really has made a difference. Also, it's not giving gimps any response so it's a win, win situation. I highly recommend it.
