PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Hoping to get a 115 update and greeted with reggae. Think I’d rather we were found guilty than listen to reggae.
fair enough, if that's how you feel.

i see this thread as being like a corridor in a courthouse.
if you will bear with me i'll try to explain...

i know that this 115 case is not in a court of law,
but it will suit the purpose of my analogy:

i've never been inside a court building,
but from what i have seen in dramas i believe it's something along the lines of a main courtroom where the case was held,
plus a long corridor where people then sit on benches awaiting the result.

the hearing was heard and we are all sat on benches in the corridor twiddling our thumbs and chatting.

there are some very well-informed posters who share their knowledge of things with us
(and grateful of it we are).
when they speak up from their benches we all listen.
sometimes people ask them questions and they are often kind enough to reply.
and when something new crops up they speak again.

but in the meantime we are all sat here on benches waiting for news from the usher to tell us the jury has reached its verdict.
day after day,
week after week,
month after month.

there's very little to talk about so other conversations crop up.

if someone is tucking into a cheese sarnie,
someone else might ask what the cheese is,
and people start talking about their favourite cheese for a while.

for a couple of days there was some chatter about reggae.

it's not that people are being disrespectful,
it's simply that we need to talk about something while we wait.

some people then start making up corny puns to amuse themselves.

some folk get up off their bench and start pacing the corridor driving themselves mad,
exclaiming that it's time this shit was sorted out for everyone's sanity.

some people can't be bothered waiting in the courthouse,
they just pop in once a week,
ask if there's any news,
everyone shakes their heads,
and they say see you next week slamming the door behind them on the way back out.

some people say, hey, look what this journalist or pundit has said,
and posters call them cunts for a while.

naturally there are security guards in this corridor as there would be in a courthouse,
ric and the mods in our case,
who make sure nobody oversteps certain lines or limits,
but in general they let the conversations happen for a short while.
and i'll tell you something...

if this case was against any other football team there's not a cat in hell's chance that the mods of the forum of that team would allow any of this to go on.
we should be extremely grateful to ric and our mods for giving us a certain amount of leeway to chat amongst ourselves while we wait for the news or any supposed updates.

nobody means any harm when they are talking about stuff like miss world or whathaveyou.

this thread is going down in history whatever the outcome,
and i for one am glad to have been allowed to be a part of it,
sitting patiently on my bench in this corridor.

Until, the philosophy, which holds one team superior and another, inferior, is finally, and permanently, discredited, and abandoned, everywhere is war.

You should know by now if you're looking an update on the charges that this thread is not going to give you that
