PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Apparently Crafton is US based. These latest leaks have come from a PL club director and former coach. There have been constant leaks to the New York Times and the Times. My money is on that, like the earlier leaks, they are connected to LFC. I understand Ratcliffe has distanced United from the ongoing dirty tricks campaign because he needs Government help and overseas investment for the stadium plans.
Former coach? Not some German bloke who worked for a club at the other end of the East Lancs Road per chance? Having said that, Klopp has often flip-flopped on this issue. We had his disgraceful "Bad day for football" comment when we were cleared at CAS yet at the end last season he also said regardless of what happens, no manager other than Pep could've won 4 PL titles in a row with us.

As for Ratcliffe, it could also be that he has some kind of working relationship with the people who run our club that pre-dates his involvement with United and that he knows we've done nothing wrong. United fans certainly don't like to be reminded of his gushing comments towards us a few months ago!

Somebody, perhaps Stefan, has pointed out that these top lawyers are very busy people and the panel won’t be sitting every day for ten weeks, it’s the period during which there’s enough room in the diaries of all concerned for the days required
I think that’s a fair comment but as was witnessed in the Forest Case or was it the Leicester Case) these hearing progress even when lead isn’t available

And presumably the hearing could stop anytime within the 10 week period if either side caves in. The CAS hearing lasted a few days when the judges laughed the UEFA evidence out of court.
Behave, everyone knows we were found guilty but paid them all off or something like that ffs

I'm lost in all of this now. No fucking idea what's going on. The only people in work who even mention it are two of the arrogant Rag types - the ones who don't go to games and supported them through Uni when they were successful. You could genuinely describe them as bitters. However, they're the ones who are very, very, very easy to wind up, so I quite enjoy it when they decide to interact about footie.
Just tell them your favorite line, “i’ll take 1-1 right now “ and confuse them ;)

:) I'm not buying it. The PL would be opening itself up to huge problems if it settled a breach that gave rise to a sporting advantage with a financial sanction when it lobbied the IC for sporting sanctions for Everton's and Forest's breaches. They could possibly do it, but I doubt they will. And if they do, they deserve everything they get.
That’s a fair point but again I refer to the Masters comments . He is setting the ground for something and yes it could be a series of charges but I am not sure that’s a given.
In the extreme I am not even dismissing the possibility that nothing happens .Yes I know that’s wishful thinking
No doubt just like many things in life I may well be wrong and no I don’t think RA was close to squeaky clean in these issues and yes I would imagine if he was still around the sh1t would hit the fan but he isn’t and there again I somehow doubt that he would have sanctioned disclose to the authorities.

No problem. I can understand you hoping for a favourable way (to Chelsea) out.

But Masters did say his job was to enforce the rules. I was assuming he meant enforce them equitably. More stupid me, though.

Interesting you think the Chelsea case will be finished before City. Could be good or bad for us, I suppose. It's all bad for the PL in my view.

I don’t doubt that but I would imagine ours will be done and dusted within a couple of months and yes way before yours is resolved

Ah thought your post was about Man City 130 fake charges!

Don't think you get fined think it be expulsion to Sunday league

Honestly am not bothered what any other club do! But the only punishment should be transfer bans and a reduced squad for a season say you have 20 players you can use plus under 21 players!

The inevitable but sad point in all this that despite the holier than though comments from a lot of other clubs officials and supporters must clubs have bent or ignored rules I would imagine that most clubs are a whistleblower away from charges.

I go back to the issues that we have supposedly self reported ( we don’t know exactly what they are ) and the data leaks many of the listed issues are to a degree interpretation of an email, a bank transaction or an opinion. On the face of it many are obvious but as has been said on here on many occasions the evidence has to cogent and case proved by the PL there almost certainly will be a void by the PL not being able to access RAs records or indeed get his side of the story.

As I said I just get the feeling that Masters is setting the scene for something and yes I feel be there charges, no charges a settlement or whatever it will be resolved way before the outcome of yours is announced
