PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

No it isn't. If the PL applies fines for breaches that lead to a sporting advantage and then deduct points from other clubs for the same thing, then they are in trouble. Very Chelsea to think just about money ......

Somebody, perhaps Stefan, has pointed out that these top lawyers are very busy people and the panel won’t be sitting every day for ten weeks, it’s the period during which there’s enough room in the diaries of all concerned for the days required

Perhaps I'm being a bit thick but you seem to be arguing against yourself. If some of the alleged breaches have been "resolved" why would the IC need 4 extra weeks deliberation?

Where are HMRC? The police? If we have commited business fraud to the degree we are being accused of ?
Who audits our accounts? Posts them with companies house?? All these personnel would be in the dock.Berrada aswell.

The allegations are all historic. Pre our 4 in a row so there is zero chance of titles being taken off us imo. Relax everyone. Enjoy summer.

Would think there will be a pause in between the PL giving evidence and city presenting their defence.

Premier league get a week to give evidence then a 2 week gap while city prepare defence based on what evidence is presented.

And presumably the hearing could stop anytime within the 10 week period if either side caves in. The CAS hearing lasted a few days when the judges laughed the UEFA evidence out of court.

In the PL case, we don't know but I would imagine they will present someone from the investigation team, at least, to explain what they did and how they found what they think they found. City would, presumably like to counter that with either cross-examination, or by presenting their own experts' opinions.

Maybe Nick Harris can deliver one or two of his whistle-blowers from the club. Although, as we think they are probably @Prestwich_Blue and @slbsn , probably be better to forget that :)

Apparently Crafton is US based. These latest leaks have come from a PL club director and former coach. There have been constant leaks to the New York Times and the Times. My money is on that, like the earlier leaks, they are connected to LFC. I understand Ratcliffe has distanced United from the ongoing dirty tricks campaign because he needs Government help and overseas investment for the stadium plans.

I`m confident that if you are fined it will offset the loses that the PL will be paying to City. ;)

There is the point. In an agreed settlement you agree such sanctions with the PL ( yes they have to be rubber stamped by a panel ) but at an IC the sanctions aren’t decided by the PL
