PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I'm not sure that this sounds much like Dylan Thomas, or any decent poetry, but AI seems to think we need not worry. (Would Harris or Masters asking the same get a different answer?) I've punctuated it and sorted it into stanzas, but not touched the words.

"Write a Poem about Manchester City's 115 charges in style of Dylan Thomas"

In the silent streets of the Etihad,
Where sky-blue dreams collide with dusk,
A whispering wind of shadows falls.
On fields where glory once wore a crown.
The echoes of old, the thunder's rustle,
Roar within the cavernous halls.

115 murmurings, like ancient grievances,
Stir in the hearts of those who cherish
The dance of ball and boot, the grace,
The long night grappling with dawn’s light.
Oh, City, beloved, in triumph bathed,
Now swayed by whispers, fate’s stern face.

Under the moon, the howls grow louder,
The specter of justice breathes its chill.
In the fog-bound alleys, the faithful wander,
Wondering if the gods are still.
Is it the fall of a titan, the reckoning’s hour,
Or merely a tempest, a fleeting thrill?

Let not the light wane, nor spirits falter,
For in the heart of tempest's wail
Resides the courage to rebuild, alter,
To write anew the hero's tale.
Through the night, to the dawn unshaken,
Rise, City, rise, the truth prevail.

In the cauldron of the Etihad,
Where shadows mingle with the roar,
In the blue we trust, undaunted, glad,
To face the storm and seek the shore.
For in the end, beneath the heavens,
Only the stars of truth endure.

Actually, I think ChatGPT missed the Dylan Thomas bit.

This time, just a pastiche of Do Not Go Gentle! This really is crap.

The Charges of Sky Blue

Do not go gentle into that dark night,
Rage, rage against the claims of financial blight.
The Etihad hums with whispers and songs,
Manchester City, accused of endless wrongs.

Under the twilight of a sky blue haze,
Where titles glistened in the morning’s praise,
The ledger’s ink, a shadowed trail did weave,
Of spend and splendor, skeptics disbelieve.

Wise men, their pens dipped in the ink of strife,
Fury, their breath, they seek to cut the life
Of triumphs carved on hallowed, grassy fields,
With murmurs of the law, their gavel wields.

Wild men, who caught and sang the blues in flight,
And learned too late, their accounts held too tight,
The balance sheet, a siren’s call to war,
With each goal scored, another sin to score.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be right,
Accusing tongues, their tales of taint did tell,
In court’s cold light, their judgments fell.

And you, my Sky Blues, there on your pinnacle,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce miracles.
Do not go gentle into that dark night,
Rage, rage against the claims of financial blight.

Tbf, he only joined after all those events happened!
Come on mate, you know I’ll defend someone if there’s an unjustifiable pile on, including many opposition fans, but even I didn’t post in such strident terms when I first joined the board, and to do so understandably invites scrutiny.

Their first post was to say they thought the club would be found guilty of some of the principal charges without supplying any supporting rationale other than a gut feeling. That’s surely worthy of suspicion.

Even if a blue, what a way to introduce yourself. Your first instinct, after waiting a year to consider what to write, is to try and bring the mood down based in your own neuroses. Imagine someone turning up to a party and the first thing they want to talk about to everyone they meet is humanity’s inevitable march to self-destruction. At least engage in a bit of small-talk first ffs. Talk about selfish.

Why did I read that in a Richard Burton voice?
Who is this Chat GPT dude? Why does he have a handle like a rapper when his poetry is almost classic in style?

What if I actually do mean I think you are taking me going on Redmen too seriously? Because that’s what I think. I mean it’s, at worst, neutral in its impact. There isn’t a single person seeing this thumbnail whose view will be changed. There maybe some that watch because of it and learn it really all isn’t as simple as they’d been led to believe. With respect, I don’t think I’m going to change my approach and sometimes maybe it will go wrong. I don’t think it’s very serious either way.

PS have you actually watched the video? Be honest

I’ve watched it this morning and I don’t think there is any reason for you not to do it etc.

Opposition fans will always lock onto your comments that if guilty City deserve a serious punishment. In the same way a lot of City fans lock onto your comments that the serious charges are going to be very hard to prove.

The guy doing it did his best to ask the questions his listeners want to know (seemed very keen on retrospective point deductions, knowing Liverpool could stand to benefit), but I think he was fine and ultimately let you speak (change from Simon Jordan).

The bit I learned was just how much information we will have afterwards will be fantastic and I imagine you’ll be busy afterwards.

I also thought the press will ridiculous when it comes out with such a rush to be first to get an article out, so much will be missed and can probably pick various points accepted by either side to paint the picture they want on the tone of the article they want (so most probably how we got caught cheating or how we got away with cheating).

Will take a few days hard work to get a deep dive into it.

Keep up the good work, enjoy watching you on TS although very jealous of your watch collection!!

Red Cartel fans want City to be guilty come what may. No rhyme. No reason. Just thick and full of misguided emotions. Unless the bunglers that are also called the Premier League have new evidence, the Red Cartel fans are going to be very disappointed. I predict a riot in 2025 when the truth is out.
It's their comfort blanket that explains why their team are shit and not special

my only issue with doing it and i have no qualms with anyone accepting any work that they want to is that it gives these channels credibility that they dont deserve and havent earned is all, credit must go to stefan for fighting the good fight but these youtube channels are ten a penny and are given so much more credence that they deserve when they are for the most part just fan rants from lunatics.

Take goldbridges channel, his rants are given credibility to the point where he parlayed it into a slot on the radio but realistically who is he and why does he deserve that, he has no more qualifications than anyone else and has just ranted into a big platform and its the same with redmen tv and it could be said by engaging with these idiots it could sully your opinion although i dont think it does i wouldnt want them to drag stefan down to their level and beat him with experience.
