PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

You could take the point he’s not gone on Goldbridge, although that would be his choice.

However, the guy who interviewed on Redman was ok (he supports a different team and has different views and hopes for a different outcome), but he listened and asked questions his viewers would be interested in.

I think Goldbridge would be a lot more interrupting etc. You also have to remember Goldbridge doesn’t exist, it’s not the guys name and he plays a character (might as well go on Alan Partridge).
I think Stefan’s calm, somewhat cerebral, fact-based approach would just tie ‘Goldbridge’ up in knots. There’s no way he’d let himself be humiliated like that - Goldbridge is smart, making a good living out of spouting shite but I don’t think he’s the sharpest tool in the box.

That is pretty much my view in a nutshell.

The one point I don’t understand and maybe one of our legal experts can explain.
To accuse us of effectively cooking the books. They would need access to said books and the detail of the transactions.
I am pretty sure they haven’t.
So how can the PL get away with charging city on that with no evidence.
They could throw the same allegation out to any club in the league.
They should not be allowed to do so without substantial evidence

No legal expert, but my view is this: the PL has gathered more "evidence" in the form of emails, spreadsheets and the like that have extended the time period of the allegations from the limited UEFA investigation to the full ten years. The PL and the club both know the evidence to prove or disprove the most serious allegations is external. The PL wanted it (and they know it exists because it was provided, for the limited period, at CAS) and the club didn't want to provide it (or will claim they made their best efforts but the externals refused). So the PL could either drop the allegations without seeing the counter-evidence, or just go ahead and refer the allegations knowing that, probably, the club miraculously provides the necessary counter-evidence at the panel. Clearly, dropping everything without being satisfied by counter-evidence would set a terrible precedent. I don't think the PL had a real choice. Explains the non-compliance allegation too, btw.

Manchester City are the excuse for the failure of others.
In life, if you want to improve your home you must invest.
Invest capital and energy, both in thought (a plan) and physical work.
City received investment, yes, but that investment would have meant nothing without the plan.
What the rags have is not investment, it is subsidy, utd.plc is a cash drain, as their plan is outdated and not really relevant these days. They are regressing and have become like Everton without the fancy new stadium..
THAT is how far they have fallen behind.
I hope that the rags continue to decline and wither away, to be of as little significance as Barrow, Bradford P,A. or Sheffield.
The real reason ffp exists was not to stop clubs spending themselves into oblivion, it was more to protect the status quo of the old 'big 4'
And so the wonderful and remarkable rise of Manchester City, via our plan, has lifted us from being 'ickle siddy' to having arguably 'the best team in all the land and all the world', making clubs such as the rags bitterly envious.
Think of all the insults thrown our way over the years, the empty seats, 'that banner' and so on. The 115 charges is all they have left in their armoury now, which is as effective as a benwell banger in an artillery bombardment.
We may not have always been the 'best team in all the land and all the world', but we have always been the 'best club '.

I can't see that at all.

Almost three months now waiting for the outcome of our far simpler challenge to the new PL rules.
Yes judges will be deliberating throughout Jan. so more like Feb we will finally find the fuker out (imho). Happy to start any sportsmans bets - what about I start - Valentines Day massacre **FRIDAY FEB. 14th**

Regarding our case on them twats sure I read somewhere good chance the actual outcome won't be released . . .

My guess would be late March at the earliest. A 10-12 week hearing covering multiple alleged serious charges won't be decided quickly when deliberating unless it is an absolute slam dunk for either party. And that includes the panel forgoing Christmas dinner too :)

The June hearing outcome will be leaked even if it isn't officially announced plus if we have success the regs will have to be revised.
