If we were found to be uncooperative in the UEFA case, I don’t see how we wouldn’t be here too. I doubt our strategy has changed too much in that regard. I don’t even see it as much of an assumption, it seems almost certain.

If City have indeed fail to supply everything the thePL requests and they ( unlike UEFA) can produce evidence that despite repeated requests to provide such requests haven’t been met in full then I think it’s inevitable that the tribunal will make damaging assumptions as to what those documents reveal .
Even if they don’t!
Then at the inevitable appeal” that forum ( unlike CAS where UEFAs assumptions were dismissed because in effect UEFA gave up trying to get the info) I would imagine the PL s attempts to gain full disclosure added to the High Courts ruling and the hint given by CAS in this regard that failure to fully disclose any defence re non cooperation won’t go well

I guess that depends on your definition, but the top top teams are all multi-billion pound companies, and the competitors being in the hundred-of-millions.

So in pure cold numbers they are indeed quite “big” companies. And as I mentioned above across every department they have the staffing levels to align with those numbers.

Why don’t you test the statement against the whole phrase I used rather than just half of it?
Presumably your characterisation of the top clubs as multibillion pound companies refers to the price someone will pay to become the owner, not a good test in a specialised market with few buyers and sellers.
In terms of turnover or profit, the true tests, football clubs are not big companies financially in world terms.
The football club with the highest turnover in the world, a certain Manchester City, recorded less than £700m last year, with a record profit of £42m.
On market cap, City might sneak in at position 102 in the uk, but on turnover and profit City would be miles away from the top 100 just in the uk. So, in world terms City is a financial minnow.
Social dimensions are quite another matter and it is in that regard that football clubs should be judged.

I think we can all agree that we will be nailed for non compliance as if the feeling around the club is the same as UEFA then the club will want its time in court? So we will get without question a big fine for that.
 
I read today that Lord Pannick is an Arsenal supporter. I fully expect him to give his all for us regardless.

All I can think of is the media asking Wenger about our game with his old club tomorrow night, then squeezing in this question about City and the PL, and Wenger saying he knows Khaldoon etc, don’t think Wenger went out of his way to get involved imo.

We will keep quiet on others’ peccadillos until our case is resolved. Then it’s:Dear Independent Regulator we thought you might be interested in these emails which fell into our possession.
