At the same time, though, there's also a welter of absolute shite on here.
Yes, sorry. I'll try to shape up .....

If he's heard City aren't confident isn't that knowledge.
So when you say "not knowledge" it is confusing.
Stefan didn't say that. He said they weren't as confident as City made out. As City were almost totally dismissive (completely cocky) that's not much of a stretch - I'll settle for 90% confidence or nearly certain as opposed to absolutely certain which in reality nobody could be in this situation !If Jordan has heard that City are not confident, then he has heard it from someone. He must believe that the information he has heard has credibility, because he has aired it on a National radio station.
If he has not made it up then he has the "knowledge" of what that person has told him
Personally I don't believe a word Jordan says. He believes and wants other people to believe he is intelligent and in the "know"
I have listened to his bull over many years, many times he is completely wrong, has to backtrap or deny he has actually said something that is totally erroneous.
The complication is that his contract with Mansour was put together by City /CFG execs.I think the biggest thing that nobody seems to mention is that his Al Jazira work predates his time at City. He was working as a consultant for them even when he was Inter manager.
Surely it wouldn't be unusual for one part of a Group to use the greater expertise of anotherThe complication is that his contract with Mansour was put together by City /CFG execs.
oh come on you're only responsible for 80% of itYes, sorry. I'll try to shape up .....
No it would be normal, but the PL will try to give it some significance.Surely it wouldn't be unusual for one part of a Group to use the greater expertise of another
He (and the information) may be wrong. But he isn't lying (IMO).
Spinning things to a dramatic context IS his job though. He's an entertainer, not an analyst. Stefan is the analyst. Jordan is the full timer who is there to generate revenue
I find it hard to get annoyed at TalkSport presenters because they don't make any claims to be anything but what they are.
oh come on you're only responsible for 80% of it
reach for the stars my friendStill 20% to go. Aim high :)
I suspect he's putting forward his own opinion of how confident City ought to be based on what he's heard about the hearing based on the views of someone on the other side. But even if that's wrong, it's generated a ludicrous amount of discussion on this thread.
As @halfcenturyup said, there's a lot of high-quality analysis in this thread that you wont' find replicated elsewhere. At the same time, though, there's also a welter of absolute shite on here.
I respect your opinon Stefan, but Jordan is a salesman... Lying is his jobHe (and the information) may be wrong. But he isn't lying (IMO).

50+ pages about Simon Jordan. Fucking hell lads. Have a word with yourselves.
If it’s come from the premier league then he should question it for the fact they thought they won the APT case..
In my mind he is Mr Malaprop. His words aren’t that pretty. Although he plainly thinks they are.
There’s a reason it’s called talkshite by many on here…Absolutely. I check it here from time to time and notice this.
Wouldn’t touch Talksport with a barge pole, even if a blue is on giving his opinion.
