PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It is relevant to both. If there is an FSR allegation and the numbers are known to UEFA and not concealed, the investigation phase is likely very short. I am far from convinced there is any FSR investigation anyway - only post July 2018 acts can be looked at by the EC. As for the PL, the PL don't gather the information for UEFA but even so it completely undermines any suggestion of concealment.

Considering I haven't wummed anywhere, that makes your post look incredibly, incredibly shite
You need to wind yer neck in and worry about other things than a video from one of Blue Moons longest servers. Sometimes things don`t happen for a reason which then brings down Tolms videos but FFS he doesn`t fucking Wum.
You`re new on here so don`t make accusations that makes you look like a tool.

Yeah...

But apart from that ?

i like it when people say things that make them look like a tool.
it saves time figuring out who's a tool and who isn't.
who to skim past.

To be a ITK…

If you genuinely where in the inner circle and knew something would you be bothered posting on BM, would you tell others and risk not being in the inner circle.

Now it’s clear the club and people at the club leak stuff to journalists at times and Fabrizo etc. but this is more tactical.

So that brings us down to people who have connections and may hear something, this means there is already one step if not two or three from the source.

This bring down the quality and reliability of the information. However, it could be right, it could be wrong (even though it has been passed on in good faith).

Does this person post it on the forum, they don’t have much too lose and appreciate fellow blues wanting to know.

Tolmie has created a reputation of knowing things as he has been first/ right on things. He has also been wrong or situations have changed.

But in general expecting Tolmie to be right all the time is only going to disappoint.

For me, I saw the elbow video and probably did check the internet more to see if anything did get announced, as it was plausible to me he had heard something.

But I didn’t expect or indeed surprised he didn’t, it dropping would have been more of a surprise.

So anyone getting upset needs to give their head a wobble, the same as if took legal advice for on a forum and where upset when it doesn’t hold up.

It will drop one day, but could be a couple of months yet.

Shame the football can’t keep us interested in the meantime.

Fair enough again.

I just thought an EU FSR allegation would be completely independent of compliance with UEFA rules. Probably wrong, then.

I also thought the point of the UEFA allegations in the 115 was that the club provided the PL with incorrect information to send to UEFA? Probably wrong again, then :)

I'll try for a hat-trick of bollocks later.

All we have to do is watch out for someone to post a video and for the thread to explode with many circumspect assumptions and false assertions.

Then we will know that the vinegar strokes have well and truly arrived :)
I haven’t been keeping up with the thread, the only poster who posts videos is tolm? Can I collect my £5 ;)

Either way it’s not worth getting worked up about.

That's where the argument falls apart, because I'm really not worked up about Tolmie at all and neither is basically anyone else on the forum. I think he's stringing you along, and honestly I have far more evidence to support that claim than anyone else has to support the idea that he's some virtous oracle - that doesn't mean we are hysterical.

And I believe that one of the trademarks of bad people, throughout history, is to treat other human beings like shit and then go 'why are you so worked up about it?' when they dare to protest.

I think lying is wrong. Calmly saying "hey, all the evidence suggests that this guy is lying to you" is not 'getting worked up' about anything. If you want to present me as being worked up and irrational, fine, but I'm not.

If you choose to believe that he is exclusively here to entertain you then of course you are entitled to believe that. But that doesn't come from anything he has ever done or said. It comes from other posters.

You're right about the PL being the licensing body for UEFA FFP. All national associations act as the FFP licensor for their clubs. The allegation that we've supplied incorrect financial information to the PL therefore would automatically impact our FFP submission.

I doubt it would have made any difference to us passing or failing but we have no idea.

It is independent obviously. The point is these are generally framed as concealed off book payments. The likelihood is none of them are. Can on book payments be in breach? Yes. But again pretty unlikely.

No, the 115 allegation is that if you lied in your UEFA submission, you also breach the PL rules not that the PL submit to UEFA on your behalf.
