PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Mark Goldbridge on his latest video release - titled 'Man City Not Guilty?'

'if you are found not guilty, it doesn't mean you didn't do it'

The narrative has begun already.
Someone should ask the **** how many confessions he beat out of innocent people when he was a copper. I'd do it myself but I'm not on Twatter anymore thankfully!

Just think this bloke was a police officer with views like that did he leave or get thrown out

Don't agree, he was steady, as that was the Liverpool defence as a whole really, but nothing very good about him at all
I don't think steady should be used as a criticism. We would have snapped your hand off for a reliable and steady centre half, this season. While not outstanding at any one facet, he was very good across the board. He was a 7 out of 10 player every week.
We player for 17 years in the premier league and was a first choice player.

I think he is mistaking not guilty with not proven.

If we are found innocent and he makes that mistake again it could be an interesting time for him.

It isn't technically correct because that isn't how accountancy works.

City's financial statements are audited by an independent firm of accountants who provide positive assurance that they are materially true and fair.

The starting point isn't just 'innocent until proven guilty', it's 'already proven innocent so you better have some extraordinary evidence to the contrary'
Certainly the way the criminal courts work over here.
The ‘prosecution’, yes the prosecution, go out of their way in the opening speech to stress the innocence of the accused until the jury deem otherwise, beyond all reasonable doubt.
The defence will do their best to sow doubt but in the judges charges the jury are again told that the defendant is presently innocent and that does not change until they say so, having examined the evidence.

Now look how City have been treated by every media, both journalistic and social.
It is at the stage where we don’t even think that our innocence when proven, will still not be accurately reported.

Job done as far as the cartel are concerned.
They can’t lose. The PL puppets can however and should.

TBF to him (which is something he doesn't really deserve), he was pretty good. But we had Terry, Campbell and Ferdinand, so he was 4th choice at best. Managed 38 caps, which isn't bad going.

He doesn't look capable of beating his own meat, let alone a grown man. I've never seen him stood up, is he a dwarf by any chance.

But at least we would have withstood an in-depth investigation into our finances, which other Premier League teams could say that?

Says banned and starts with guilty ..then mentions or not guilty !

And that’s why, if successful, we still have to win the optics war - unlike last time. That will get the mainstream media on board and leave people like this clown and magic hat in the margins, looking like bitter, drunk hoboes, screaming at the world.
