PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Its May ffs! How did the club, Pep come to the conclusiion that it would be March. I am not criticising them not knowing, but if they didnt know they would not have said March/April surely. What gave them that impression. I wonder if there have been extraneous delays.
Marzo ...Mayo ... not that different are they :)

It was the weekend surrounding St Patrick's day (March 17th); rumours were rife on the sunday that the announcement was coming the following day. This place damned near spontaneously combusted. I dread to think what it'll be like when the decision is actually announced!

Modding it will be fun

It will be once there are enough US owned clubs in the PL to vote a no relegation league and thus protect their investments
personally i don't see this ever happening. it would be less popular than the european super league etc. i would expect the fans to revolt and i would expect the government to act.

Without stating the obvious,I don't believe it is within either parties gift to dictate when the result will be announced, I just think they have realised the ramifications are so huge that the result has to be water tight ,so each word will poured over ,and as Stefan says it will be quite a large document, I'm coming to the conclusion I will be Cosmic Dust before the verdicts given.

We have been over this time and time again and so what if Pep got it wrong. Its not a fucking problem for me.
I literally said I'm not bothered he got it wrong. I'm asking what info were they going off to come to that conclusion. Ie What could have changed that they said that then but here we are now in May.

I am assuming they dont know. I am not questioning our club or the manager, I am going off facts that seem strange.

Our club have kept quiet on this, not a dickie-bird. In fact it has been our strategy to stay quiet, all the way through the process. The media questions have been ignored on this topic at nearly all press conferences. No matter how much they have tried Pep ignores their questions....

Then this year Pep said March, maybe April. Why would he do that? I mean it sounds like our club had some sort of knowledge about dates, hence just would have stayed quiet like we always have done.

I guess I am asking why would our club stay quiet, then announce a possible date (When they have never done that before). Maybe something has changed since then given the delays we seem to have)

Of course it could all be that Pep just got it wrong, I know.
It’s only the 1st May. A day after the suggested timeframe.

Haven’t they all signed up to a regulation which says relegation is a permanent feature of the PL?

I guess that'll be determined on the result. If it goes the way we want it to, great. If it doesn't.......

I'll be suspiciously busy that day if it goes against. Family emergency. On holiday. Outside signal range. Phonelines dead. Too windy for smoke signals. Eagles hunting pigeon carriers. Too foggy for Morse Code.

Stefan did say on the radio that he felt it would be a lot longer than people envisaged and so far he has been proven right. Peps info could well have correct at the time, but for me the papers have been going back and forth and maybe City were unhappy with the wording, hence the delay.
