When Masters was talking about how these rules (financial fair play and profit and sustainability) are in place to ensure a level playing field. Which we've been hearing for years now.

It absolutely amazes me how not one single journalist or broadcaster has ever thought to ask: "so where were these financial rules when Manchesniteh were winning the premier league ever year?"

I find it hard to believe his comment that he has no idea when the result is coming out. There must be some awareness of broad time scales. This is not a criminal trial. There will have been extensive ongoing discussions between both sets of lawyers. There will also be a back channel to the panel, not least as part of the fact checking process. There are just too many commercial interests involved for both sides be out of the loop in terms of timings for a release to the public. I am also certain the Government (and the new Regulator) will get a heads up at some point.

I don’t think it’s true. My father-in-law worked on it and never said anything. It might have been tough conditions but certainly not slavery. Probably just hyperbole.

The current rules do the opposite of what Masters is claiming. We're now the beneficiary.
