PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Haha, exactly the opposite, sadly.

Too many of our players refusing to move on and run down their deals.

The same ones who all wanted rises and extensions after the Treble, as Txiki hinted towards.

Say what you want about Walker, and I've said plenty, but he chose playing before cash.

We dozed on the job.

I agree with you. Whether it was after the treble or last offseason it's now clear that the refresh needed to happen sooner but at the same time I understand giving the existing squad a chance to win a 4th and potentially 5th consecutive title, even if the latter didn't happen. In hindsight being ruthless and tossing sentiment to the wayside would have been the right move. At the same time, I happen to be rewatching The Last Dance and Michael Jordan talks about still resenting the fact that the team was dismanteled in 98 instead of being given a chance to come back and try to win a 7th title. So while it's clear that we waited too long to rebuild with the benefit of hindsight, I understand why Pep, Txiki and the players might have been conflicted and made the decisions they did as well.

Same, the longer it takes, the more convinced I am that it's the Prem trying to save face in some capacity. If the verdict was leaning more towards the Prem than us, how would they not have just come out and announced it?
That theory must assume a verdict has been arrived at because no one has confirmed it has.

I don’t think the outcome of the panel will be linked to anything in any calendar EXCEPT the government may want to be kept in the loop due to the fallout should there be a decision firmly in favour of one side. Either the government of a trading partner or the governing body of our national sport is going to come out in a very difficult position. This WILL be very tricky so does anyone know when Starmer has booked his summer jollies?

so its either tomorrow release or it wont be released before PL kicks off as no way this drops on the day PL kicks off on Friday.

Ponce has spoken.
Ponce passed the buck again and stressed the independence of the panel, trying to distance himself from the coming backlash.

Incidentally, the questions posed from the Sky interviewer that it was unfair on football and football fans, really does expose these cunts.

No mention how unfair it has been to City or their own fans.
