Agreed. Surely a step too far.View attachment 166023
The dictionary definition of "dodgy" is dishonest.
Hopefully this has gone over the line and we can sue their arses.
Yeah, you could even say it’s One Step Beyond. It’s Madness!Agreed. Surely a step too far.
But yes I made that claim and I stand by it. Khaldoon has been quite clear in his end of season reviews that we are completely innocent, have no end of evidence to prove it and will aggressively fight any suggestion to the contrary. Are you saying he has made no mention of the charges or has indicated something different?I don't remember Khaldoon saying that in either of the last two years?
This is what you said: "Khaldoon has said all of those things in his end of season review for the last two seasons."
I don't think so.

Typical Paddy Power with there shit attention seeking headlines.Surprised nobody has picked up on this yet.

Never knew that about Ugo’s name appearing. That’s an absolute shocker mate.Typical Paddy Power with there shit attention seeking headlines.
Just like when they had Ugo Ehiogu on the price list to be next Villa manager despite him dying a few months earlier.
Anything for a quick laugh and some publicity.
They’re basically the Bonnie Blu of bookmakers.
I can’t imagine this going down well with the city hierarchy.View attachment 166023

FFS No. I said Khaldoon has stated they have been aggressive in there defence of innocence. It was Patel who said he "THINK'S the panel members have been taken aback by how the club has come with its defence. I posted a screenshot of the quote from the article. So, just for clarity, you stand by the claim that Khaldoon has said in each of the last two end of season reviews that the PL and the panel members have been taken aback by how the club has come with its defence?
As far as I am aware, no-one has ever made that claim before, hence my original post which started "The only interesting thing to come out of the latest articles was: "I think the Premier League will have been taken aback, as well as the arbitration panel really, how Manchester City have come with their defence," added Patel."
And just for the record, this is what you said about the quotes in my original post: "Khaldoon has said all of those things in his end of season review for the last two seasons."
Anyway, it's not really important. No need to reply unless you can give us time stamps of Khaldoon saying in each of the last two end of season reviews that the PL and the panel members have been taken aback by how the club has come with its defence. Which you won't be able to do because I am pretty sure he hasn't said that in either of the past two end of season reviews.

Yeah, if that was the case it shows them up as a rank amateur outfit at the very least. A “mistake”’like that is unforgivable really.![]()
Paddy Power offers 66/1 on Ugo Ehiogu replacing Redknapp - BBC News
Bookmaker branded "sick" for giving odds on Ugo Ehiogu taking over at Birmingham City.www.bbc.co.uk
They claimed it was an honest mistake.
In all honesty it could have been.
But his death was well publicised and still very recent.
Hard to believe it wasn’t picked up by staff.
Can anyone really believe we will do anything? We will just keep quiet and let it roll. It would be great ir we went after every **** in the press who comes out with shit like this. Unfortunately we will do nothing as usual.I can’t imagine this going down well with the city hierarchy.
Assume they won’t actually refund bets ? False advertising ?View attachment 166023

I wonder what that actually means (in terms of them being taken aback)It was Kieran Maguire who said that the PL were taken aback by our defence - he's a much more credible source than that Patel bloke whoever he is. I hope he's right.
