Governments are not supposed to get involved in sport in terms of things like the rules of side etc or politically interfere like making a team champions but I would like to see UEFa try and go up against government of financial sustainability. I am not sure how it’s going to work to be fair as PSR or whatever isn’t going and the regulatory doesn’t have the budget main aim seems to be make sure clubs don’t do super league or move 200 miles change name badge etc but clearly it will also have a role over finance

At about 3 mins 50 she said a regulator would not have got involved in our case and should not be involved in the rules of the game) so she conflates the offside etc with FFP PSR. Then later she says that regulator will be about sustainability. Isn’t our case supposed to be about breaches of rules that are supposed to be about sustainability. Perhaps she just let the cat out the bag and that FFP was nothing to the sort.I'm not going to listen to it again :-), but from memory sshe said the regulator wouldn't get involved in the day to day running (assumed she meant sponsorships etc) of the PL, but would get involved in the redistribution of monies to the lower leagues to try to ensure their sustainability.
I think she was talking about the PL rules that we've been alleged to have broken. Offside is under Laws of the Game. I didn't hear her mention those

I don’t what else a Regulator will do other than regulate the way the sport is run and that will have to include the sort of circus of corruption we have seen in the 115 case. Perhaps Brady, like Levy, still doesn’t get it. Charlie Hebdo says there are worse things that can happen as a result...Suing people over a joke is not a good idea, either PRwise or legally.
Three times she mentions a variation of that but always at appropriate times to explain why it's a long process. Brady isn't a pundit she's vice chairman of a premier league club. I honestly didn't have a problem with anything she said, her main point was wanting an accurate outcome as opposed to a fast one, I couldn't agree more.How many times she repeated " these are really series charges " ?
I feel those pundits don't want to club to be relegated only, they also want the club to go to hell.
Take all their titles, their money, and convert their stadium into a prison.
The presenters are idiots as usual, comparing the speed of VAR with the speed of this process and making the common man mistake of thinking the FA are somehow involved in the charges. As ever I think people with a background in law/business/arbitration should be discussing this not people in football.

She stuck the knife into Rick Parry though when she said their offer was not even shared with the EFL clubs. It looks like the EFL is run in a similar way to the PL. A total lack of transparency.I think the answer is to never believe anything anyone says unless it's under oath. Certainly not if it's on Talksport.
People on here taking what this woman says as gospel about the PL / EFL settlement is mind-blowing.
