It was a topic of conversation last night on the back pages programme. It seems that he has been pushed out by the owners.

He has been pushed out by the owners. That's the way it works.

The question is why now? There could be lots of reasons, of course but I can imagine when Mansour changes Khaldoon for someone else it will be at the end of a season; or when Soriano goes it won't be three games into a season.

Just a little strange.
 
To pause the Levy discussions for a second, and return to the equally irrelevant Paqueta point, I found this an interesting comment in the outcome of the commission review, on finding the FA had no evidence in charging the player.

The comission said this was "a salient reminder to the panel not to jump to conclusions and the dangers of drawing adverse inferences from events unknown".

Could be something to do with Savinho staying, despite them offering money that would be stupid not to accept.

The reports of ‘Soriano blocked the move’, why would do that if Pep and Viana were happy enough to let him go.
