PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

We've just achieved something never before achieved in English football history, to add to the domestic treble and 100 points. This Pep team is immortal and will be remembered long, long after Neal Maupay (who's achieved fuck all in his career) is forgotten.

The slurs on our club has been and is relentless. It reaches a crescendo after every trophy we win. I'm not sure if the hierarchy realise just how damaging this is. It's a form of brainwashing and it's worked. No matter what the outcome of the hearing it's gone on for so.long that 99% of fans of other clubs will never believe or accept our innocence, even if that's the result. In time they will realise they lost the propaganda war and fought it poorly.

If I had to to surmise and there are far better posters than me on here, is it they're trying to enforce 2019 rules into 2011 alleged breaches.
If there's no compromise and a full hearing goes ahead and either party appeal we could still be 18 months away, not good for City and there's no way Masters could survive that.

The problem is that the PL rules are pretty generic (Clubs must show utmost good faith, Clubs must submit accurate accounts, etc.). There's only one number in there, which is the £105m losses over 3 years.

Whereas UEFA's FFP rules contain a lot of relevant parameters and are quite specific in many areas.

Evra on City being Champions again "things would be different if a bigger club won it". Who are these bigger clubs? Surely not teams in red whose sense of entitlement precludes any interlopers? They like to patronise plucky losers.

Manchester City are now part of the elite in world football and recognised as amongst the biggest by most metrics. The rags, dippers and now arse have been broken trying to challenge City on and off the field and are playing catch up. The irony is they have become the "plucky losers" feted in the media.

Evra had his time in the sun but now lives under a rock. He cannot grasp that things have changed and that City are simply better in every department. He is one of those people who prefer to think City cheat or rig things to win rather than address their own club deficiencies.

Most English football fans do not support the "bigger clubs". Evras reaction is that you would expect from a smaller lower league side for whom all Premier League success is irrelevant as they never expect to be part of it. However, to assume they do not value their club achievements or that they are meaningless is Evras logic. Who cares what other clubs or fans think?
