PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Think I am going to confidently predict that the much voiced opinion that September is the likely month for an outcome is wrong, So that leaves us with the slightly less popular October......
 
The most likely sequence of events will be that City and the PL are informed confidentially. That will no doubt get leaked, not the result just the fact the result is known. This will be followed by days of rumours, counter rumours, conjecture and torrents of bu115hit. Our best hope during this time is some credible City sources send out good vibes either directly or on the qt. It could be a week or two before we see the infamous...

It's noticeable Marco did not say anything about it being a positive (or negative) result. "Put your seatbelts on" could suggest we have a bumpy ride ahead of us, but it could also mean nothing.

With that said, its really nothing new that we didn't already know (or at least assumed), its not far away.

He has been consulting his crystal ball again. It must have been dusty as I do not think he has used since late August 2008.
 
I’ve drunk all my coffee, eaten all my ham sandwiches with Branston and smoked all my cigarettes. I still have the champers and the suicide pill but I don’t think I’ll need either today. Still, we learn something every day; I can now spell Branston, but don’t ask me about jherkines.
So, it’s all back on Monday at 0800 hrs.

It's a great time to drop it and leg it until Monday.
 
If they know we’ve been proven innocent, then the PL probably wants to keep it quiet as long as possible to keep this shit hanging over us. They’ll be desperate to see it roll on through January with no news so it puts off players signing for us like it seemed to with Wirtz.
 
If Marco was a true blue I know he would come back on here and give us more details.



That should rile him up to give us an update. ;)

If there’s a verdict proving our innocence then surely city would put it out instead of letting things fester even more?

Where was it reported that Wirtz didn't join us because of the charges hanging over our heads?
