If you were being really cynical about this you could argue that a PL game is a TV entertainment sports show, filmed in an outdoor studio. The matchday fans are just the studio audience. All the driving factors now re rules and technology (VAR) etc are all about creating more content for the enjoyment of the home viewers. The vast majority of people who see a PL game are not the fans in the stadium. Not knowing this a source of puzzlement for cartel fans, so when a raggy says "you can't generate more revenue than us because our crowds are bigger", oh bless em. However, the impact of 115 on our attendances will hopefully be a topic of conversation our legal team will be having with Masters etc in the comming months.
That's exactly what it is now, but the very people who fight against it get attacked by the new bunch who want their popcorn and half ad half scarves.
