i definitely know where you are coming from, mate.Both those artists are absolute kings of the genre, although Yellowman leans in more towards dancehall imo. I’ll be honest I don’t like either mix you’ve posted though.
Ganja Smuggling by Eek-a-mouse is one of my all time favourites and Still be a Lady by Yellowman isn’t far behind.
The clip you originally posted is a nod to what I would class as cod soundsystem. It’s not a reggae drum pattern or bass pattern, it isn’t in 4/4 time, there’s no skank, and there’s an absence of brass, piano or organ. It’s 100% not reggae, mate.
