The problem is when you have too many players like Dzeko who have poor touches and lack any real football brain and composure the game becomes harder,keeping possession becomes harder, this is what i think happened yesterday and in the game v Palace.

Kolarov,Millner, Dzeko are all very poor with the ball. They should never be all on the pitch together.

Beside your obvious hatred of Edin you defiantly pick wrong sport to follow mate. You should be watching something else because you lack minimum brain capability required to understand football. Maybe curling is good option for you.

It never ceases to amaze me the level of negativity aimed at Dzeko on this forum, although there's a lot of this in general on here at the best of times.

The bottom line is he scores goals, and important ones.

On & off the pitch he's a lot more than many people give him credit for.

Spot on. I sit in 305, and the level of animosity towards him is shocking.

You been on the sauce all afternoon or what..?? we won those games ffs and are in with a shout of the title.. you been in a coma or sommat.

I agree with what you're saying, but I can help but think we're playing within ourselves a bit. Not having a go, but Diego Simeone wouldn't have accepted that type of performance yesterday. We were so lethargic at times, you would never have known there was a title in the line. I'm not expecting Pelle to be like Simeone btw, I'm just commenting on the different approaches. I think some of our players could do with a rocket up their arses at times.

Mr Dzeko may not go down in City history as one of the all time greats but he will certainly be remembered as scoring one of the most important goals in recent living memory. And he continues to add to the list of where he's scored and it's made a helluva difference to the outcome, and got us to where we are right now.

What do some people expect....Messi??

No he doesn't always turn up and put the fear of god into the defenders. But (in my best Michael Owen voice) I tell you what, he's the kind of player who's gonna get you goals. We wouldn't be in the reckoning for this year's title if he hadn't played as well as he has done.

And don't forget how he fucking riled Fergie up when he had his first press conference after signing. Perfect.

I have to say anyone who doubts what Edin has done in a blue shirt, or what he is capable of, needs their head examining. His goal against QPR was equally as vital as Aguero's and yesterday kind of reminded me of that day. Yes, he makes some huge slip ups and he has off days, but he makes up for that with truly vital goals and I do not, nor ever have, doubted him. No-one who calls themself a City fan should ever verbally berate any of our players. Edin has been on the receiving end far too often. Any of you who were at Real Madrid will remember the magic goal he scored, or at the Swamp last month inside a minute, or Palace last week to fire us all up. No, he is not Aguero - but he is equal to Aguero in his own right. I have said it every season and I will say it again, like him or not, Edin Dzeko has and WILL score some of the most important goals in our club's history. Let's show our full support for the lad in these last two games - let's GET BEHIND EDIN DZEKO.

Fully agree - I would love to see a giant banner "Praising Dzeko" at the next 2 games. I know I won't - BUT please get behind Dzeko and the team for the next 2 games. I know he divides opinion - more than any City player I have known in the past - but GET BEHIND HIM - forgive his bad touches, etc.
We have a title to win.
