He's the same player as milner. Not good enough to be in our midfield if we aspire to be in the elite. Milner and Henderson in a midfield duo would not be pleasant viewing.

It is better, but which English player do you replace him with without spending more money of top of the transfer fee and not break FFP regulations?

That all said, seeing as we spent £9 million more than we had to for Bony (buy out clause of £19m) fuck knows why we couldn't replace Milner like you say.

This has been done to death. You can’t force him to sign with us in the same way you can’t force him to leave and join someone else. A contact works both ways.

We might have wanted to move him on last summer and got a fee but all you can do to pressure it is threaten to drop someone down to the bottom of the squad list, that is a lose / lose situation and should be avoided at all costs.

Didn't work like that tho.the player holds all the cards ,city can try and sell him but if millner dosnt want to go nothing city can do to make him.
