Not that much of a surprise, Deschamps doesn't like Nasri.

Only Deschamps and he will know why there is this apparent tension between them but it appears that Deschamps has put his own ego ahead of his country by leaving one of their best players out of the biggest tournament in the world.

Feel bad for Sami, and Gael, but at least they'll be fresh for next season which is probably of little consolation to them tbf

I was not a massive fan of Nasri but this season he has earned my respect,how he has not been selected is beyond me he has earned every right to go to the world cup.

Nothing at all to do with talent because samir has it in bucket loads !! Hope they do shit and it comes back to haunt them

Putting city first as I always do, that was my first thought!

But it's a shame for Samir after such a good season (although I don't think this is a footballing decision is it?)

Coal miner face will get sacked after this World Cup, Sami will be straight back in, should he choose...... A lot of this is to do with the political climate with Islam at the moment, Sami is a big voice and unfortunately it's worked against him!!
