Where is the outrage from the media for the challenge? I remember a certain challenge by De Jong against Newcastle which resulted in a week long witch hunt. He even lost his place in the Dutch team because of a perfectly executed tackle. This was premeditated yet there is nothing apart from reports on Sami's injury.
You could bet your mortage that if it were a certain mario still playing for us it would be on constant repeat on ssn asking for him to be tared and feathered publicly

Exactly. I have never bought in to this whole agenda shit but this was f*cking disgraceful. All we have heard since the final whistle is how they should have had a goal, which was correctly or incorrectly ruled out. If the boot had been on the other foot, our player's tackle would have been on constant repeat on SSN with the offside goal viewable on YouTube only.

Looked like the right mechanism to injure the medial collateral ligament.
Was a kick from the lateral aspect just below the knee rather than a twisting force such as would cause an Anterior Cruciate rupture.
6-8 weeks if its a medial ligament injury with any luck. Hopefully no meniscal injury.
Good luck Samir.

In your expertise I will take comfort. Hope you're right mate.
Fingers crossed my friend. His foot was off the ground on contact which is another good thing...

His foot was firmly planted in the turf. He had all his weight on his rear foot and was just pushing off on it. It looks as though the cretin's shin makes contact with Samir's knee just as he was pushing off the turf.

That would suggest his knee took a serious whack, struggling to be positive.

Re: Samir Nasri

Not starting till next season in my mind, if he comes back any sooner its a giant positive.

Aren't Bayern looking to give that Swiss lad some game time?

Re: Samir Nasri

Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa. You fucking dickhead.
Was so fucking pissed off when i saw that happen, he is a fucking small time newcastle fucking wanker who needs someone to return the favour, absolutely disgusting.

Re: Samir Nasri

Typical it's when he's in his rich vein of form, hope the lad is back asap as he's been my POTS for me.

I thought they were booing milner too

I had a look at the Newcastle fans as nasri was being stretchered off. tbh i was expecting a small ripple of applause. I think This being as the amount of time he had been down on the floor, everyone knew it was a serious injury. There was absolutely nothing. From memory the Booing started as the stretcher was being lifted and nasri taken off, well before when Milner came on.

Some Newcastle fans were booing as he was carried off ..... absolute arseholes .... Its a fair bet Newcastle's nob jockey of a manager Pardew sent his players onto the pitch today to kick the shit out of our players!! ....

Such a pity specially as going to need the full depth of our squad for the next few months.
Maybe the chance for young Lopez to show us what he can do?

I hope so, I think he can do a decent job against the sides we 'should' be beating, but not sure against top sides. I just hope his injury isn't as bad as it looked.

Re: Samir Nasri

the real pisser is that Nasri is set to miss occasions and matches that would be the pinnacle of any players career. Cup finals, possible league title winning games topped off by a World Cup. A great player in a great team doing great things. All of this taken away by a no mark player in a workmanlike team who will never win anything or compete for anything. Truly gutting and it would be nice to see this pig player lose his livelihood through an equally malicious challenge and his pig manager get sacked.

As for the booing Newcastle fans, I actually think they were booing Milner who was about to come on. Historically, Newcastle fans have been fair and have empathy with a club like City. They were pissed today because of the 'goal', as we would have been, but it doesn't make them bad fans.
