Not saying we will start playing shit, or that he is the defining player in our team, but I'm a little concerned that we may lack the level of fluidity and creativity we have been enjoying with both him and Silva in our team recently and at the start of the season, if he is out for a long period. Yes we dealt without Silva, but sometimes we struggled to break teams down, ie Sunderland away.

I'd love to see Samir lift a trophy with City at the end of the season. Today's result was huge and I think the team has great determination to win. That was one doubt I had at the start of the season. We all knew we had quality players, but with the early away results, many wondered at the focus of the players. All such doubts have been well and truly vanquished.
