Re: Samir Nasri

Some of his dribbles around the box were Messiessque, soccer porn in my eyes.
You could see he badly wanted to score today, and that boys, is the kind of comittment I want a Dzeko to have each and every time he gets the chance to wear the blue shirt !

I really wanted him to get the goal today. He was phenomenal in that role behind the striker. He didn't even have his usual finishing touches, but was still amazing today.

Also, imagine if they actually counted the penultimate pass as an assist. He had 2 today, 3 against united, 1 against swansea, and that's just what I can think of at the moment. His stats are pretty good, but don't at all represent how much he has contributed! Immense.

No penultimate pass from him vs Swansea.. I counted one vs West brom; one vs Southampton. I think there was one or 2 vs Norwich and Spurs...

Re: Samir Nasri

Really good again today.

Shows he has changed this season. It was obvious he wanted to score, but showed how much of a team player he is by laying off Fernandinho for his second.

Brilliant again

Re: Samir Nasri

Indeed.
I can name a hand full of world class well rounded mid fielders : Gerrard or Lampard comes to mind.
But the last time I was impressed with technically gifted attacking players from England takes me back to the 80's : Gazza and Chris Waddle.
I can't tink of any other English players who could live with him and not pale to compare.

Re: Samir Nasri

So wanted him to score today but it was not to be...
.
Another superb performance from him though......

Re: Samir Nasri

great performance from Nasri today....was desperate and unfortunate not to get on the score sheet

Some of his runs today at the back four were fantastic

Re: Samir Nasri

A goal would have slammed the door on the hoodoo he had playing his old team. As it was, his performance did. I've never seen him him play with so much confidence vs Arsenal.
He and Fernandinho are the ones I desperately wanted to score. 1 out of 2 isn't bad.

Re: Samir Nasri

Had he scored after that lovely, jinking run in the box I don't think our stewards would have been able to hold off the Arsenal fans this time.

My mistake. I confused Swansea with Norwich. But still.. that's a total of 10 right there!

Yes I agree with you, he's been great this season on almost every game.

I do remember the one vs Norwich... A great long ball towards Aguero who could have scored but set up Silva.

Re: Samir Nasri

I am very pleased Nasri and Clichy had better performances against their old club.

Re: Samir Nasri

I am no longer pissed off about failing to sign Isco. The credit for that goes to Samir, who has been consistently excellent this season. He has become the player he was for Arsenal. Deserved his standing ovation today.
