It's the teeth in the bottom left that gets me.

Hope Samir is OK.

Could only be out for 4 weeks no need to worry - the doctor said

Hopefully this is the case, and not any more serious. I dont think his leg was planted when the twat had a go at it (twice), which may have saved him from more damage.

Nasri has been excellent this season, we will miss him.

In a strange kind of way it could be a blessing in disguise if true
And enforced rest might give the rest of his body chance to recoperate

Similar to vinnie David and sergio

Re: Samir Nasri

Does anyone really think Chelsea would sell Mata to one of their rivals in the Prem? Not a chance.

Plus bit short sighted, what happens if Nasri is back in 4-5 weeks as some are predicting?

I always liked Newcastle fans but they've shown their true colours today. Booing a player as he is stretched off is despicable

I thought they were booing Milner

Gone down in my estimation if it was Nasri

Can't understand why they would boo Milner, either. He will have been the model professional at Newcastle as he has been at every club he's played for.

There was a lot of Geordies applauding Nasri mate. It was just the thick tw@ts near us in the corner booing from what I could make out.

-- Sun Jan 12, 2014 7:47 pm --

I also thought they were booing Milner.....not sure why though....what has Jimmy ever done to upset any fans. A through-ably decent chap.

Get well soon Samir

Re: Samir Nasri

I am no medical expert but i think nasri might be out for 6 weeks at most,if the impact would have been couple of inches higher it could have been tragic to say the least

Geordies never understand why any player would want to leave the toon they grow up thinking the world is in black and white

They were booing Nasri for me. Why would they boo Milner?
He used to play for them and fucked off for bigger things like any decent player would there. We may take Cabaye yet !

Re: Samir Nasri

It's bad news but we can cope without Nasri as long as we keep the other midfielders fit. Milner and navas bring something else to the table, and silva can still be playmaker. I just hope for his sake and ours that it isn't a cruciate or similar.
