Wasn't the fact he missed the penalty for me but more of the fact that he took the ball off Sterling, Raheem was not happy at all and rightly so as the lad had a certain goal elbowed off the line then he won another penalty and denied a goal scoring opportunity by his team mate.

I've never liked the whole taking the ball off team mates lark unless you're losing/drawing and the said player taking the ball is a natural penalty taker.
Cost us nothing and maybe some good will come of it if Sterling and/or Bony get bumped up the pecking order for pens.

For the last five seasons, City have boasted one of the best, if not the best, defensive record in the Premier League. All of our defenders are either good, or very good, but none of them are shit.
Personally, I think Zabaleta has been inconsistent for longer than his worshippers would dare admit, but I can't see the point in a witchhunt.
As for Kolarov, I didn't think he was our worst player today. Sure, he missed a penalty, but it wasn't our biggest concern.

Don't know who it was but earlier this year a manager said " we targeted Kolorov "

Norwich did today albeit in a limited way. Ottamendi made numerous interceptions on the edge of our box today covering for him and all the crosses were coming from that side. Sagna gave the ball away a lot today and didn't play that well but there was little to no threat from his side.

Actually both Allardyce and Van Gaal admitted that they targeted Clichy last season. In fact throw in Burnley A and QPR A, and nearly all our worst Premier League performances didn't feature Kolarov.

Great footballer, shit defender. I can only assume he did well with penalties in training. I've always thought he'd be better used as an impact sub winger for the last 20 mins rather than a defender. Always seems to put in a shift though.

I agree mate, I'm not someone who gets on backs or will shout at the game but I know he's a problem and it's a problem position for us, people may have had different feedback but I'd say the majority of City fans I've spoke to say he can't defend, this for a defender is a problem

He's a smart cookie is Aleks. Buying cheap fouls and making judicious fouls of opponents is something he is a master at and that covers a multitude of sins.

Is that not like saying Aquero featured in our worst performances last year ?
